Quote:Do we win more games last year with Teddy? Do the Vikings win less with Bortles?
I bet the Vikings win more with Blake and the Jags lose more with Teddy. People are underestimating the run game. Teddy had teams stacking the box to stop AP but Blake had zero run game and a trash defense. Those 2 things normally lead to awful seasons from young QBs but Blake was an animal.
See Drew Brees and ask him how can a lack of defense and running game affect your win loss record Because that was his situation for the last 2 years.
cant believe this is still going on

believe it
Quote:this is pretty baseless and very insulting to the Allens
No, it was pretty astute and realistic about the Allens.
24 TDs between two second year guys doesn't happen without the QB also being pretty damn good.

Who said he wasnt good?
And there was nothing astute or realiistic about putting the TDs and our ppg entirely on bortles as if the Allens arent proficient at their jobs getting open and winning contested catches lol.

The good thing is we have a QB that can get them the ball down field where they are deadly

Nope, going to a weak armed checkdown master would completely neuter the offense compared to what it was under Bortles.
I had said before that draft that I prefered Bridgewater over Bortles. Clearly this is why I shouldn't be an NFL GM although there were others who said this very thing. With that said, I think Bridgewater will end up being a decent QB by the time he gets to his 4th or 5th year but he's really not that good now and the favorable comparisons to Bortles are ridiculous. It's not even close at this point and the gap may stay as wide or even get wider as the time goes by.
Glock does not rise to the quality of the "Glock" heritage. Not even close. A username change is in order, IMHO. No Glock is that far off the mark, out of the box. But then, you must always consider the user and not blame the firearm, to be completely fair.

u still on this? I thought i was through here
Quote:Id say its:
1.Bortles - Fearless and confident with athleticism that actually translates
2. Carr - Smart , Accurate , Consistent - Mr.Clean
3. Winston - Able to elevate those around him , Prime athlete
4. Bridgewater - Clutch game manager , minimizes mistakes
5. Mariota - Wild card with massive potential as a real dual threat Qb
Winston elevates Evans? Cause I dont see that at all. Because Evans made Manziel look better then he is.

True, and the same goes for Henne if it ever came down to using him.
Quite frankly, if Teddy were on this roster, the team would have a tough decision to make at QB. That is, should they go with Henne or Teddy as Blake's backup?

I'm thinking Glock here is the only one on the planet who is buying it.

He's not buying anything. He's clearly a troll going by the stuff he's been posting around the board. His ridiculous accusations toward you of trolling are the clincher.
