No. That would be the crowds of people who swarm around after her feeling the need to start insulting her every time she posts. So that rather than seeing one post of dubious value, I get to see one post of dubious value followed by fifty more of zero value trying to be witty about how worthless the first post was, and constantly bumping it to the top of the page.

If you ignore her she just starts more new threads. We already tried that tactic last year and it failed. At least this way it has some cathartic value.

So we have a choice between a lot of threads that sink off the front page of their own accord and don't get many posts on them, or a lot of threads that stick at the top, bump off more interesting stuff, and get lots of posts. Seems pretty obvious which one is better.

Or not being so uptight.

Not quite right, her new threads end up taking up the main page because she bumps them with a "I guess no one saw this thread I made" type comment.

It might be missing a few toes, but this thing definitely has legs.

I feel as confused as MJF.   I didn't watch the pro-bowl.  I'm guessing someone made up the injury, though it sounds like something that would actually happen.  I mean would anyone really be surprised to hear AROB get hurt in the Pro-Bowl?

Yes, it is #69. Obviously it is impossible to guess he lied without watching the Pro Bowl. Nothing in that post looks like an attempt to be funny.

I don't ignore them because if I did, I could not read any of their opinions and factual comments and about football-related topics. Why do you think I am here? When they are not insulting me, posters have some pretty good things to say.

 

Also, I need to know why they do this to me. I will keep asking until I get a satisfactory explanation.

I meant ignore the posts that are mean, not ignore all of their posts. 

I wish I could explain why some people like to pick on or make fun of other people, especially those who may process things in a different manner than they do through no fault of their own.   

Personally, I don't understand that mindset either.
