Quote:What's my agenda?

We should win against other bad teams w/injuries despite our own injuries. FIXED

Now ^this^  I can agree with.

Gus will either be here or he won't depending on how the rest of the season plays out.  Take a Vacay because this might be a little nerve wrecking for you.

What knowledge am I applying? You can use ASAP, as long as you can spell it correctly.

Where has this been proven in film, exactly? Because the Jaguars signed him? Or did you just file through 2 years of Broncos game tape? I'm sure Deon Branch was film was proved when Seattle traded a 1st to NE for him as well.

50/50 (because that must be another proven stat on film) red zone targets to a TIGHT END! No way!

I never said its FACT that JT is a product of Peyton Manning. I'm just saying, he has to prove he can do it without him before he can remain being considered a playmaker. Just saying " Nope, not uh, not possible" is just unrealistic.

And please... PLEASE tell me you didn't just refer to a WR that had 3 concussions (who was actually pretty good before that) and a career backup TE.
There was a complete write up on JT over at BCC. Showing his ability to get behind coverages and give Manning an easy TD pass.

You IMPLIED that JT is a product of Manning and that he isn't a proven commodity, though he was the most sought after FA outside of Suh and maybe Cobb and McCourty.

I referred to products of Manning. Collie wasn't any better than what he was. Garcon hasn't even been as good after going to RGme and Cpt. Kirk

Demaryius Thomas was pretty good with Tebow at QB.

Decker seems to be doing fine without Manning, with Fitzy at QB.

Some players have skill.

Some players look better because of their QB.

I'd put JT in the former. But if I'm proven wrong, I'll eat crow.
also...

American English generally prefers the form nerve-wracking. Therefore, American dictionaries will usually list nerve-wracking as the primary form and nerve-racking as the secondary form.

I wasn't correcting anyone, just adding reference.

a lot of people use the wrong form, nerve wrecking.

I suppose one could have one's nerves wrecked also

Lol did you just try to correct someone's grammar and had to bring in something off google?

That's real big of you.

haha... nope. see above post.

adding reference to their quarrel lol

I don't need the internet to feel big.

Technically I got it from an English reference site.

A write up at BCC? Thats what you're going off of? They also had a write up of how Tyson Alualu found his "niche" at 5 tech. They were dead wrong.

Collie sustained three concussions in a year, before that he had 15 Tds and over 1200 yards in like, 23 games. Saying " he wasnt better than what he was" is just saying something that yo know cant be proven wrong to make you feel better. Garcon hasnt been good? So you mean to say he was a product of Peyton Manning? He was also a highly coveted free agent when he signed with Washington

Thomas is one of the best WRs in the league, I didn't say Peyton made EVERYONE on his team. Eric Decker's TD count dropped more than half of what he used to have in Denver.

I didnt imply anything about JT being a product of Peyton Manning. In fact, I stated MULTIPLE times how much I like him, and that I think he'll eventually be a playmaker for us as well. I was saying that to completely disregard the possibility of him being a product of Peyton Manning is both ignorant and unrealistic.

...ok
Quote:What has Julius Thomas proved as a Jaguar? I like him a lot, but, speaking of reality, he hasn't done anything without Peyton Manning.
I don't care to get involved in this bickering, but this line is just too much.  Are you kidding me!?  He's played ONE GAME without Peyton, after being sidelined for an extended period of time.  Can we give the kid a chance before making ridiculous statements like this?

Yeah... as in guys that kind of do it for a living with access to film showed visual proof of how awesome JT was.

I never said Garcon wasn't any good, just not as good.

Which is kind of my point... plenty of guys production will drop after leaving one QB to another... however, some guys disappear and some guys still produce.

"I didn't imply anything about JT being a product of Manning" and further along you say "I was saying to disregard the possibility of him being a product...."

sure does seem like implication....

JT also had Manning on his "down side"

where BB5 should be in his "prime" soon.

How is it ridiculous? Its true. Again, this whole thread I have been saying that I both like JT and think he will repeat his success. Im not even REMOTELY close to saying that he has not panned out, but to think its not possible is foolish.

Carefully re-read what you wrote and tell yourself what it implies.  Cmon man.

Lol those "guys that do it for a living" are clowns. Go ahead and take their word for it. There's a reason they are on a busted [BLEEP] fan website instead of anything important.

"Implying JT as a product of Manning" and "Disregarding the possibility" are not the same thing. JT hasnt shown if he is or isnt a product. Im not sure where your confusion lies.

Lol Manning's down side? He threw for 4,700 yards and 39 TDs.

Then quit using the Peyton example.

"What has Julius Thomas proved as a Jaguar? I like him a lot, but, speaking of reality, he hasn't done anything without Peyton Manning."

What implication is there? I literally wrote that I like him alot. I didnt say JT isnt anything without Peyton Manning, I said he hasn't done anything without Peyton. Its not criticism, its the truth. I dont think it will stay like that, but to say its not possible is foolish.
