Quote:My bad! I have indeed been bamboozled! Apologies to HIGH SCORE.

No apologies necessary. I am just glad some people notice how dumb the OP and his buddy ThunderBuns look when they cry and whine and write-off Blake a handful of games into his career.

Not to mention when his team puts him, Allen Hurns, and Allen Robinson in situations where they have to do EVERYTHING.
I heard this driving earlier, I was surprised at how peevish Lageman seemed. Normally he's one of the most even keeled guys on the radio that accepts that people have feelings and positions, his irritation at hearing about Gus's record and the fact that people are irritated at being asked to pay for the levels of ineptitude the team has displayed is something that I hope was just today, because no one's being unreasonable except for those that would call for people to keep paying their money and just keep believing, because it's not like the Jaguars just lost to a great team, they just lost to the team that the titans absolutely handled without difficulty. The only win the Jaguars have this year is against a team that fired its coach. The Jaguars aren't just bad, they're really bad, and at this point they should at least be competitive with middle of the league teams, not almost competitive with bottom feeder teams.

The thing that is funny is that after the loss to the colts everyone was on the offense for being unable to put up points and how our defense held them to 13 points in regulation and that should be a win. Now the offense performs well and the defense sucks and the offense is carrying the team. Don't get me wrong, the offense was good last week and I even thought it was good the week before without putting up any points but people need to learn not to flip sides so fast and be rational from the beginning. Our defense can be okay at times and bad others and our offense looks to be coming around. It's that simple. It's frustrating because if next week the offense underperforms everyone will go back to saying our offense sucks and we should've drafted cooper ect.
Yeah... You guys are right... 8 and 29...Pfffffffffft.... Who cares if they blew up the roster and started over... We should have been in the Stuporbowl the last two years, dammit.....

Don't be an idiot. I contributed to a thread that called into question bortles ability and his alarmingly poor play past and present. Let's not pretend like were bashing tom Brady here. Problem is that your incapable of taking off the teal glasses for sec to truly evaluate so everything is rosy in your eyes. Guess what! Despite the 10/4 he carries right now he still lobs picks and makes horrible inaccurate deep passes. But go ahead and lie to everyone how we hate our qb because we want more than just a mediocre qb.

When did anyone say anything about being good the first 2 years? People on this board wanted to lose on purpose to get a higher draft pick the first two years.

But yea, I guess by year 3, winning the division against a backup QB and beating the 2nd worst team in the league is just way too much to ask for.

Everyone knows it takes 3 4 years for a rebuild anyway!

My God...you are throwing out logical analysis and facts, but it still seems like you are whining...
oh, I'm sorry... Stupiid me... Here I thought the "29" part of that 8 and 29 that everybody is complaining about included the last two years as well.

Gus is amazing.  You would have thought he ran the Seahawks not Carrol.

...does that mean we expected a super bowl? I'm not sure you understand.

You're right, 1-4 is so much better.
Quote:This brings up an interesting question. Has building a team that was expected to lose these past two years instilled an "OK to lose" mentality in the team? In the coaching staff?

Interesting point, and goes to the point that they don't know how to win, which is a hard to put a finger on talent.

I think that also goes to the notion of the coaching staff, who doesn't know how to shift gears and put the hammer down to the team, before, during, or after the game.

Wins have to matter more than the process at some point. Gus can't adjust or adjust the team.

Some coach is going to get a talented team and instill this.

On the other hand, some how people can complain about a QB who threw for 4 TDs and one pick?

Every single QB misses throws, including Brady and Rogers. All of them.

I saw our guy make noticeable improvement the last few weeks, and I don't see how it is in dispute.
Gus was brought here to bring the Seattle defense over here.  We have the gimp crippled version of that defense.  Gus is a nice guy and loves ice cream but it's time for him to go.

The offense played good enough to beat that team.  31 points should almost always get you a win.

Allowing 38 points against the bucs with the "muscle hamster" going off is unacceptable.
Quote:The thing is whenever you go NEGATIVE with regards to ANYTHING, it immediately becomes a lost cause and you had best walk away from it because not only does your negativity effect the quality of your life, but it effects the quality of everyone else who is in any way associated with your life. Nobody wants to be around you and even you begin to hate yourself.

So just say NO to NEGATIVITY and allow things to just happen, because in the end, you are not in control of anything other than how you react to things happening in your life.

if i was lying on a couch and u spoke these words to me, I'd ask u to bill me for the session. Heck, I still wanna buy u a coke or a mountain dew for this. Very timely Wink

His stats are looking better and he's playing well at times. This is a good thing. I never brought up bottles in this thread until some idiotic person came chasing for some sort of approval from me. Hopefully he can take a step forward one day and put the team on his back and win a game. But first Lets hope he can at least be consistent first before we go chasing people around looking for acceptance.
Quote:Did you just say our star QB was out? You do know he played last week, right? Gus didn't travel into the future and lose next Sunday's game. Not yet anyway.

Our "superstar" defensive players? You mean Poz? The dude that took a pay cut this year? This board was ready to crucify him months ago, now he's a superstar?

Clearly you weren't talking about Dante Fowler Jr., who has yet to take even a preseason snap in the pros. Or were u talking about Marquise Lee? Because we've never had to deal with him being injured before.

The Indiapolis Colts. They were/ are missing Andrew Luck. Are you telling me, heading into that game, you would rather have Andrew Luck out than Poz,Lee, and Thomas?

The sad thing is, you really shouldn't NEED to be 100% healthy to beat the Bucs.
Lol Apparently you are clueless to what i was speaking in reference too.  Every NFL team has injuries; but if you name those injured players, each team still has one or two(or more) players that they can rely on and look too for some type of plug for the hole left.  Since you were proactive about naming our would be "superstars" that only proves my point further.  We cant afford injuries to anyone especially players that we rely on, good or not; yet everyone here seems to think that we should perform the same as every other team just because they have injuries too.

The Colts mention made me laugh, i'll admit.  If you think that the colts are the true leaders of this division with that dumpster fire that they have over there, your delusional.  They squeezed out a few wins that they didn't truly command or dominate and yet you think that this is the end and we should just fire everyone and cut bait.  I see why Bortles used the kindergartners reference lol.

We've made mistakes and lost winnable games, great insight might i add, and if we correct those mistakes then we can still make a purposeful statement this season, playoffs or not.  Let Bradley fire himself this year and if so, look for his replacement at the end of the season.  We lost games against the Bucs, Panthers, and Colts; and one of those games(Indy) wouldn't have even been a decent chance at a W from this MB or so called fan base.  That's one win that we didnt see coming and 3 loses that we pretty much could've won but stuff happens.

I guess that's what getting whooshed, or whatever you call it is.  You and Malabar should high five it out.

My mistake. Your arguments were so lame I just assumed they were sarcasm.

Sorry I corrected you Joe.
