I don't listen to Lageman and I haven't listened to Boselli in the past. But I have listened to Boselli a lot this year. I enjoy his and Pete's show on Monday. If you think Boselli has been a pumper this year you are an idiot.

I honestly don't think Jeff understands how radio works. For the entire week, we discuss mostly the same stories until the following Monday when we have something new to discuss. But an overriding theme for the past several years has always been the same thing...the Jaguars are not a good team. That talk will continue until things change. You can't simply tell the fanbase to "get over it". And man the disrespect to Mike Dempsey on his show. Jeff needs to check himself. Boselli does too. They ran the same excuses with Gene Smith, "fans are dumb, we are smart".

I mean it is pretty ignorant to put the record on Gus. He had a terrible roster the first two years (by design).


As far as I'm concerned, Gus is 1-4 with a built team and that itself is not good enough.


I think most people who thought Gus could be the longterm solution at head coach figured on at least 6 wins from the team this year. And Tampa bay would have been 1 of those wins. It's not looking good for Gus. Even without considering the overall record.

You know what else is always repeated by them and the "positive" fans? They tore it down and the roster is too young. They've only had two free agencies to add talent, the draft also. And way more of the similar. If they can keep spewing that crap people can easily say they're paying to see this mess.

After Big Bo told a caller to kiss his but on the air Monday, he lost all respect from me. I guess his walk like a Christian as taken a turn. But I like Jeff because of his X's and O's approach. The game is played on the field. The great move today is fantasy sports, so many are starting to view football through fantasy glasses. the media operates on opinions, I enjoy the on field action.

 

That being said, The Jags must turn it around or there will be another wholesale change at the end of the year, starting from the coaches down.

This brings up an interesting question. Has building a team that was expected to lose these past two years instilled an "OK to lose" mentality in the team? In the coaching staff?

I had my concerns about Bradley before this year. But I didn't hold year one or year two against him.


I trusted in the rebuild. I realize, like all of us realized, that the first two years would be miserable.


This year... the way things broke for us was a golden opportunity. Luck out, tin horns a mess at qb, playing the bucs with a bad rookie qb, etc... there was an opening for this team.


Not to mention that the talent we've acquired over the past 3 years looks respectable....


It's just not acceptable for fans. This team has been let down by a coach that didn't figure out until just now how important winning games on Sunday is... he never figured out how to inspire while still lighting a fire under these guys.


It's too late for Bradley. But this team has the talent to win this division. We need a strong coach that will scheme to win.


Gus is a motivational coach who wants a conservative game plan. He coaches not to lose. Not to give up the big play. Not to go for the throat. As we all have seen, this type of coaching fails at this level.

Interesting you bring this up, as a caller did on Monday(or the post game show I cant remember) about NEVER or rarely hearing Gus use the word  WIN in public. Its quite shocking.

It's not about progression and getting better anymore. It's time to win. When your GM says it's built, well now I better start seeing W's. These people keep jerking us around, and claim we're ignorant to it all because we've never played. Well news flash Lags, Gus, and tge apologists we know you are supposed to beat the other team every week, or that week was a failure. I could care less about Bortles 4 TDS because it means [BLEEP] if you don't win.

ignorant in the true sense of the word perhaps, meaning that person must not be fully educated on the situation. Maybe Lags point is based on the many other aspects of winning or losing a game. Things that are beyond the coach's control, and this team has faced a ton of uncoachable obsticles.
