I assumed it was because the rivets (or whatever is holding the wall together) were falling out. 

 

weakest episode of the season thus far imo.

They totally glossed over that and his hand as well. They left this major cliffhanger with him being surrounded and also the possibility of something going on with his cut hand neither were even touched on. Strange episode.

That one has me a little perplexed. 

I just assumed it was from all the walkers being pressed into the wall like a cheese cloth. I thought it was to show the immense amount of bodies on the other side of the fence. I don't know tho.

The smells. They can differentiate between dead and alive through smell. One episode the characters essentially dressed up as walkers to mask their smell so they could walk amogst the walkers. I do wonder why they don't use this more often. And also what happens when the walkers nose is chopped off. Does it solely rely on sound and sight and take a bite out of anything? I dunno.

Your first point was supported in "Now" on Sunday. The walkers in the sewer were in that hibernation mode for which seemed like years. Maggie is lucky that the guy ended up following her (his name escapes me).

I think the best guess came on the Talking Dead. The pressure of the herd crushing those on the front lines and it's their juices oozing through. Best explanation I have heard so far.

Very possible, and this makes more sense too. Kind of previewing what the next show will be. The wall coming down under all that pressure.

He wasn't surrounded, but they were coming out of the woods to the RV. The cliffhanger was a fight or flight moment and based on what we saw, he high tailed it out of there past a much slower horde of walkers.

The whole episode felt very rushed. They didn't even inform Rick that the Wolves invaded. Also, they skipped the interaction between Carl and Rick after whatshisname told Rick that Carl was thinking of going after that girl. Any episode that doesn't have Carol gets a whole letter grade subtracted, too.

I'm guessing Mr. Legs was Dwight, I don't remember what they called him. 

So was that Glen who called for help over the radio at the end?

Possibly. I've seen theories on the guy holding Daryl hostage could be Dwight too [spoiler] pre-face burn. He also took Daryl's crossbow. [/spoiler]

If they stay true to form, they will save that for a flashback.

 

If we don't see this in a flashback, it will be very weak sauce.

I thought it was someone at base camp saying to stay away but couldn't get through. Things could get hairy with them on the way back with all of those walkers hanging out.

Ah I knew it was something that had that sound, I thought they were saying Dwayne for some reason.  Either way I'm guessing that's why they didn't show his face.

I'm probably late on the jump here, but the scene showing the blood on the wall was supposed to remind the viewers that Enid was removing the rivets from the walls to climb in and out, and now the integrity is compromised
