I thought Cam Robinson was still available so I had to rethink this pick. I could not find much information on the best players available in multiple positions that I liked, but I felt there was a lot of good things said about this pick.
Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State

Absolutely. We're not a team that relies heavily on the TE and we have solid depth at WR. I just think we have much bigger needs on the O-Line, RB, Safety, CB, DE, QB and KR. I would place TE behind all those needs. I believe Koyack is good enough to be a solid TE, if Bortles gets out of his funk.

Don't really care for the Jags pick. I feel there were better players available at more positions of need. Especially online. I feel a guy is still out there who could be an all pro FS as well.

Quote:Another good option to think about. Could be a TE. Unless we feel Sterling or Koyack is the answer.I would be quite happy with Leggett in the second.
I would also be happy with Poicic. He's a big, physical C that would allow Linder to move back to RG, and Cann back to LG.

Is it a good idea to move Linder to guard when's playing at such a high level at center?

Does this pick envision the Jaguars re-signing Amukumara?

Okay I will make the pick. And if rufftime changes it so be it.
With the 36th pick of the Pre combine site wide mock draft. The Chicago Bears select Jourdan Lewis CB Michigan
Reason: Chicago loves smaller CB's and has a need with Porter being older. Now the knock on Lewis is his height. And the fact NFL receivers will push off on him. As seen in example A of the Senior drills. However, If you take a look at mark 2:51 on the second one on one drill. You will see how dangerous and how much of a headache Lewis can be for receivers.
Add to that he has been really explosive on Michigan and over shadowed by peppers.

I expect taken to early or bashed. Just thinking this would be the right team and fit for him.

I have the Panthers and Bengals. Is it safe for me to go to bed and make my picks in the morning? We still have 3 picks ahead of me.

Well, maybe I'll stay up for awhile since the picks are coming in fast and furious now.

He has of course but for me , high level C + rookie RG > rookie C and high level guard

Like this pick. Fpx is a DB coach too I'm sure he likes Lewis a lot.

If the draft fell like this I wouldn't be happy with the Conley pick. It would mean our last 7 picks in the first 4 rounds went defense. Just as good or better players on the Online and TE, more positions of need. Time to go offense IMO.

I just didn't want to drone on about the talent and flexibility we have in the secondary without first knowing who we'd have back there.
Besides, if we dump house and let Amukumara walk without signing anyone to replace them, CB becomes a much bigger need.
