What this guy has done will have a negative impact on the lives of so many others, including his soon-to-be ex wife, and his two very young children. They'll grow up with the stigma of knowing that their father is a convicted pedophile, and when he finally gets out of prison, a registered sex offender. People never think about the collateral damage caused by their behavior in situations like this. It's tragic.

Agreed. It even goes further with society in this day and age. It doesn't take long for insults or attacks to be spread around the world via the internet and social media. There is no real "thought" in culture and society today. It's all about getting "likes" on websites and social media. The destruction and tragedy of a family is mocked and even "celebrated" by certain groups of people. Nobody ever takes into account not only the family as you described, but also the victims.

So you can make public criticism about others who if they disagree with you must lack decency and integrity (not sure how that applies..), but others making comments, criticism, or mockery are not allowed, albeit of a man who completely voluntarily entered the public eye.
Some might call that high level sanctimony.
Not me, mind you, I will await a verdict, plea, or official decision on the matter. Therefore, I can hope to some day obtain the moral superiority.
