You should be more worried about our sun becoming a red giant and evaporating the earth. It will happen sooner than Ramsey wearing another teams jersey.

You remember how many teams Deion and Revis played for, right? They may be the two best corners in recent memory, and their loyalty was to the paycheck, not the helmet logo. I definitely see Ramsey playing under a second contract with the franchise, but it is extremely rare in today's game for a player to only suit up for one franchise.

I recall one season when all the Cowboys players agreed to take a pay cut so they could sign Deion Sanders.

Then you have Dareus. I love his ability to stop the run, but he's been a little unstable off the field. Is he someone the Jags would look at cutting?

Simply put, Dareus is going to need a MONSTER season if he's to remain on the roster next year. With that said, word is he's already been beasting out there in practice.

I was called a nutter for thinking Jackson could go next year. I think if we have another good year, maybe we can get Campbell and Jackson to restructure and only have to cut dareus. With a higher cap + 1 of our 3 big money linemen gone and 2 restructured deals, we would be able to keep Ramsey, YN, and Jack. Another thing to consider is Lee and Moncrief can also be trimmed fat. If Westbrook, Cole, and Chark ball out the need to resign Moncrief is 0 and Lee could be trade material. This is all hypothetical what ifs, and a little farfetched but oh well lol. That's my take.

Those guys, drafted 1-2-3 might be the best 1-2-3 trio ever drafted by this team. And they are the heart of our defense. A lot of our long term success depends on keeping them right here in Jacksonville.

I think we'll probably have to pass on Fowler this year. And we might have to let Malik Jackson go. Will that be enough?

When I see that order in one draft, it does remind me of how an NFL dynasty is built.

They have like 18 mil to rollover as well.
Chruch and Gip are options for cutting as well to save some $.
Restructuring is possible for some guys too.
Lee could be cut after 1 year into his deal for some savings as well I think.

Also when time to do Ramsey deal, maybe AJ is let go and a guy like Patmon has developed (or we draft another DB high)

Go by Overthecap's figure as far as where the Jaguars stand in 2019. Early in this thread, I explained why their $19.4 mil-over figure for 2019 is more accurate. As for the rollover money, it appears the Jaguars are currently only $13 mil under. If they're able to roll this much over then we're only $6.4 mil over, so releasing any one of the three DLs would put the Jaguars under the cap with room to spare.
