Ahh, the old  I didn't say what I inferred tactic I see.

So from me saying that "I think Coughlin is doing more harm than good", means I said Ramsey should be in control of the team?

Are you being serious right now? Because if you are, you got some comprehension problems dude.

Lol

So you would take all of them over Ramsey? Or you’re just nitpicking 1 season instead of a players total body of work?

If you really believe Humphrey is better than Ramsey then we don’t even need to bother continuing this discussion.

Well thank god you're not the GM.

There are PLENTY of teams who would do that in a heart beat.

Maybe you do but I don't want anyone who doesn't want to be here.  Maybe his play fell off because he doesn't want to be here.  He already talked about getting traded once.

No one player is bigger than the team

So now Ramsey doesn’t want to be here?

Ramsey even said his teammates know that when the time comes, he will be more than ready to play.

If Tom Coughlin didn’t open his mouth, this would be a non issue. But because he spoke about it, now everyone is speculating he doesn’t want to be here (which isn’t true).

Well I'm sure him and Tom will talk and if he does want to be on the Jags then hopefully everything will be squashed by training camp.  We don't need any distractions

I wouldn't trade him for a corner if I was going to trade him.  I want a 1st and a 3rd

Meaning, which of those players would you take over Ramsey if you had your way?

The only person who's causing a distraction is Coughlin.

If he keeps his mouth shut, this would have never been brought up.

Remember this is the same flgators who wanted to trade Fournette and 2nd for Nick Foles just for the right to give him 25 million a year.

Thank our lucky stars we don't have him over the team

Here is what YOU actually posted:  "I can't help but feel this is directed at Coughlin's old [BLEEP].. and personally I think he's doing more harm to this team than he's doing good."

You then doubled down and demeaned TC again a few post later.  Your disdain for the 2 time Super Bowl Championship coach is obvious.  You think he is out of touch.

What you and Jalen are missing is his stance is not about talent.  It is not about being ready.  It is about TEAM!  Jalen and Telvin not being here makes a statement whether you realize or acknowledge it or not.

I said that last year when it wasn't even off season.  You asked me a thousand times why I wouldn't trade more than a 3rd for him and I said because he will hit FA.  This conversation was beat to death

Coughlin is absolutely out of touch.

Also you are highly overrating the impact of Telvin and Jalen not being there, it will have zero effect on the season. I bet if you polled their team mates they'd  say "sure it would be nice to see them, but as long as they're ready it doesn't matter"

Looks like someone's feeling are still hurt that we got a SB MVP QB Foles, haha. Love it, I told you

And it was just as terrible an idea then as it is now, same as the trading Ramsey plan.

If he wants to be here and don't cause any distractions than good.  But I hope he doesn't have a down year because if he does you best believe this will get brought back up.  Hopefully he is training his [BLEEP] off like the rest of the team and becomes the shutdown corner he was a couple years ago.  The good thing is we got a great leader on the most important position in football in Foles.  The defense is in desperate need of a leader after Poz left.  Campbell is one but the D plays behind him so it's hard to help.  I'm hoping Jack takes that next step as a leader this year and turns this into his defense

Honestly where is Telvin in all this? He played it smart. Jalen acts like he was singled out and Tom said his name

Again, none of that means I said Ramsey should be running the team.. Like you seem to be stuck on/claim I did.

I wasn't really a fan when they signed Coughlin on to run the team to begin with. I do think he's out of touch (and it didn't take long to see that, aka Fournette) and he hasn't done much to change anybody's mind. I don't care what he did with the Giants 10+ years ago. Today's NFL isn't the same.

And what you and Coughlin seem to be missing is that this is voluntary. As well as the fact that Jalen has trained with his father and brother in Nashville his entire life. Every off season. This isn't something new he just started doing as a jab to the team... His teammates fully support him and know he'll be back when its time.

This is the biggest non issue we could possibly have and Coughlin made it one by opening his mouth when it didn't need to be opened.

Wow how completely selfish of them... They aren't team players and they don't support the team.

I'm sure Coughlin wouldn't of said a think if they just helped us win a SB. I honestly feel they comments were more at Telvin because he just got paid and had a down year and Ramsey did this last year and Coughlin didn't say anything. Ramsey acts like he called him out by name.

You do realize the only thing these workouts are about is conditioning right? There's very little, if any, team work being done.. It's all conditioning right now.

He drafted an injury prone power back at #4 overall over some quality QBs when we needed a one badly That's about as out of touch as you can get.

I'm not sure people realize that the voluntary part of the offseason is essentially checking in body wise and making sure everything is ok + some very general scheme stuff that will be gone over multiple times in the mandatory sessions. Ramsey and Telvin aren't going to be relaxing on their couch.

Eric stop being obtuse.  Is there anyone on the planet that thinks Jalen will not be ready for game 1?

There is something about shared experience, pain and suffering that draws you closer.  Does being here on April 17 make you a better player?  No, emphatically no.  It does however make you a better member of the team.  THAT is what the old [BLEEP] clown is trying to get across.
