Nothing? Really? You see the exact same team as last year?

LMAO seriously

I saw a team that can lose to any team (there's tremendous parity) but can also beat any team.

I can't think of ONE team we wouldn't have an equal chance to beat. And our defense didn't play their best game and of course the offense didn't. But I saw a defense that can force any QB in to turnovers and stuff any teams run game. They have the personnel.

Haven't been able to say this since '17. Going on a limb I'm more comfortable with this team than the 2017 team because we actually have an offense. That 2017 offense was much easier to stop than this one. They didn't trust Bortles at all. The WRs and passing game had no consistency. That team had more stars on defense but by week 4 I think this defense will be just as good if not better. Much better safeties.

After today's showing in the AFC South across the board it's looking like it could be a winnable division.

The games will be closer this year. 8 - 9 could possibly get you the 4th seed here. Will boil down to trench warfare more than actual QB play.

Any of these QBs could be streaky but it's the running game that wins it all. Whoever runs the ball better and stops the run better will ultimately win this division.

They need to beat indy at home this weekend.

Tacks lost to the Giants. Neither Houston or Indy won. No one won in the AFC South. It's a long season, and this division will likely be terrible. Can right the ship. Since the Tacks lost to an NFC opponent as well, I believe it's a tie for the division lead.

Yup, 8 or 9 wins will likely take this Division.

Regardless of his shortcomings, Trevor’s performance today did not suck.

People are overreacting but that’s par for the course. I will admit, first half felt like a repeat of week 1 last year. The sheer fact that we got the lead back, and only lost because of an Etienne drop and one overthrow, already separates this team from last years. Meyers team would have folded at the half

Yeah the division is wide open this year, not one dominant team.

Colts - Probably the best overall but big probably. Ryan is older and doesn't have dominant WRs. Jonathan Taylor is scary to face. They should have the best defense but they're not dominant.

Texans - I actually fear this team more because of the unknown. Lowkey I really like Mills and he's been better than Trevor so far. No other elite players but they may play good team ball.

Titans - Was never worried about them too much after losing A.J. Brown. Then when they lost Landry I knew they were in trouble. They have Henry but I think we're built pretty good to handle him.

I think our team can beat anyone this year if the offense settles down. I have a feeling Doug is still feeling things out but will settle the offense down. He has the tools he need. Same thing with the defense.

I feel good about the squad.

Or the fact that the defense didn't stop them on one drive.... regardless of the things you posted one stop by the defense and we win....but I do agree the drop by ETN would have also won the game....it was close.. the fact that we made adjustments and came back and took the lead speaks volumes.... Something that wouldn't have happened last year

one thing has changed. the  head coach acctuttly looked more involved in coaching.

snowwolf titans owner in madden.

note titans owner means im undeafted againest them.

If we can win next week we will likely be at the top of the division

Couple observations as someone in the stands.

1. Trevor was off early but I thought the play calling was fine. The Jags moved the ball really well. The over throw to ETN for a TD was bad.

2. The ETN drop for a TD was by far the most deflating part of the game. Several of us got out of our seats because we thought it was gonna be a TD. WIDE OPEN.

3. Trevor was harassed all game long. He made several big time throws with someone barreling towards him. Jon Allen was a beast today for the Commanders.

4. Like I said months ago, Kirk is the best FA signing for this team. Dude is open all the time.

5. What a debut by Travon!

6. Wentz made some bonehead plays and some great ones (nothing you guys didn’t know).

7. Fans were generally pretty good. FedEx field is a DUUUUUUUUMP. Pipes had burst at one point during a game. Parking sucked but it was cool to hang with other Jags fans for a change.

Overall, I wanted a win but it’s week 1. Keep improving and the wins will come.

Refreshing to read some level headed perspective from someone on here. The amount of whining today was almost at an all time high.

Are they getting funding for a replacement stadium and/or going down that path? I would imagine tax payers don't want to part with money at this point. Any chance they go back to downtown DC? I hate the name change and Synder didn't deserve the win today.
