His profile is a bit larger, I’d say.

Maybe he wanted to take all his guys to the game.  Nothing wrong with that.  We need to get more people in there, anyway.

I think it's pretty close to the truth.  At least, I hope it's pretty close to the truth.  Where's the red wave everyone predicted?  We're left just about where we were before the election, except that the Republicans might narrowly control the House of Representatives.

Sometimes, divided government is good in that it keeps politicians from doing things.  They'll sit up there in Washington, fruitlessly spinning their wheels, and we can go about our lives without their "help."

I wasn't predicting a red wave. This is predictable if you just look at the trends and not the hype.

This has nothing to do with grievance-driven politics, either.

Been watching Fox News all morning.  They predicted a Red Wave and have been talking all morning about what went wrong and how could their forecast have been so far off ....

As of right now, Kari Lake is losing.  Still a lot of votes to be counted.

Maybe that's because Democrats spent 53 million to support Trump endorsed candidates.

I give her next to zero chance of winning that election. It would take a miracle.

She's winning with votes left as they are election day votes. Same thing with senate seat.

The cheating was bad again and basically affected the states that did nothing. The states that mostly fixed stuff were counted and red waves. The states that did nothing or fought it elected mentally challenged people.

Will see if anyone does anything or if we are left with the RINO leadership and uniparty stays.

Polls show everyone hates the direction of the country but no democrat incumbents are being replaced at senate or governor level and people that killed your grandparents, parents, etc, are actually dead, and so mentally handicap that he can't speak are being elected when all the polls showed them losing big.
The cheating started early with preloaded ballots but not doubtful anything is done about it.

GA passed some new election laws that progressives got all upset about, yet 2022 might be an exact repeat of 2020.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Most of the laws were useless or didn't really do anything. They are starting to clean stuff up but they are open for cheating and it's not just the democrats. Kemp and Rats are big cheaters and seem to get to keep their spots but allow the senate to go to dems. That doesn't happen today unless you are a crazy NE state.

I finally got something saying that I would be removed from the rolls if I didn't respond. I still got mailings though. I have no legal address, filled out a change of address, transferred registration, insurance, and license and it's been over 4 years but I'm still on the roll in some form of valid.

Both of these were "news" only because the media says it was. When are you going to learn that the media is going to hype every dang thing for ratings and clicks. They're not reporting actual news when they're speculating or stirring the pot.

I saw a video on youtube Fox News where Trump announced his run for POTUS 2024. I only watched the first two minutes but did read some comments.

The god-like worship of that man is scary. I know republicans are desperate for representation in the WH but Trump is not the answer.

I can see how people are going to become more divisive because of their love or hate for the man and things are going to get really ugly. Sure, you can make fun of the liberal meltdowns on MSM and social media, but that's going to spill out into real life and become a serious problem.

Enjoy the calm before the storm.

It's not healthy for the Republic to have declared Presidential candidates when the election is still 2 years away.

I’m of the opposite opinion. Now that there is an even-keeled alternative in DeSantis, coupled with the Trump endorsement losses in the midterms, I believe we’ll see him slowly fade into the background. There will always be a vociferous cadre of die hard Trump acolytes, but the majority of his supporters are beginning to back away.

The whole point of representative government is that ordinary people only have to think about it once every two or four years.
If we thought it was desirable for people to be constantly engaged, we would have made a system where every big decision comes up for a citizens referendum.

The vote was rigged. They are thinking about it because they know they were cheated. If you want them to act as you suggest then the elections have to be free, fair, and transparent.
