This is the removal of misused funds and given to an American ally..

Still two subjects.

A lot of truth being spoken here. One thing we’ve discovered in the past 7 years is even the “moderate” left is satisfied with not only monopolizing the megaphone, but are more than willing to silence any opinion they don’t agree with. It isn’t just the far left.

One could ask if the same thing would happen were the shoe on the other foot and I would have to say yes. Freedom of speech is an uncomfortable zone sometimes and the left has demonstrated their willingness to diminish it. They are living breathing examples of exactly why the First Amendment is necessary.

"Old Twitter was basically Pravda, an arm of the government."

How can that be? Hillary told Trump to delete his account but Twitter didn't delete it.  Then, Trump was still President when Old Twitter banned him.  Seems like Twitter did what it wanted.

He was using a simile, Mike.

If you don't use a literal comparison word such as like or as, it's a metaphor.
Anyhow, you say Elon was being less than literal, but your comment seemed to take him literally.  Whatever.

You're reaching. Is that a simile or a metaphor?

From grammarly:

A simile is a type of metaphor, meaning all similes are metaphors, however, not all metaphors are similes. Below we’ll break down the differences between them and explain when to use one or the other.

A simile is an indirect comparison of two things.

If you write that someone is . . .

as thin as a rail.

as American as apple pie.

like an open book.

Then you’re writing in similes. The person you’re writing about does not literally have the same width as a rail.

A metaphor is a direct comparison.

If someone asks, “Do I make myself clear?”

And you answer, “Crystal.”

You’ve replied using a metaphor. Their request has the same clarity as a transparent crystal.

This is 1 subject, sending money to Israel. The bill then says the funds are being taken from here in the already approved "budget".

Where did the video come from? I've seen it posted but never saw the original source of it. This is some type of proof of where you are and who is with you video. He looked bad. Is this for his probation officer?

Changing the amount of funds approved for the IRS is a second subject. The IRS has nothing to do with foreign aid.

One is happening because of the other so it's under the same subject.

You're being obtuse. Move on.

Regardless of how you feel about the immigrants coming into this country seemingly unfiltered, this is not good. People shouldn't have to live like this, especially children. This whole situation is going to turn into a major humanitarian crisis across the country if politicians don't figure out how to manage this situation starting at the top. A lack of care is the issue. Unless it helps them politically most of them don't care.

I just heard a sound bite on the radio of a Mexican national who is making huge amounts of money funneling migrants to the border through Mexico. He’s dumbfounded about how easy it is and how oblivious our government is to the problem.

I’m waiting for one of our resident leftists to come here and defend this administration’s lack of leadership. Or at least affirm there is a problem, but they won’t. Even more, they’ll claim they are not hard left but more centrist while absolutely refusing to level any sort of criticism towards their party.

Resident leftists?  Who are you talking about?  I'm not aware of any resident leftists around here.
