Yeah. Isn't it amazing how some can get into a profanity laced, foot stomping diatribe about protecting everyone from misinformation when their very own MSM, who they hold up as arbiters of truth, are overtly practicing it.

I get the sentiment, but this is a waste of taxpayer money. Congress has much more important matters on their plate.

Gotta start somewhere, dude.. His salary is a waste of tax payer money. Ask people in East Palestine how much ole Pete should receive as a salary.

I'm all the [BLEEP] for it!! Defund them all!!

Maybe they should put all of Biden's ethnic only hires on full blast if they're not doing their jobs too.

Granted, the idiots could be the same paid protesters from 2020 and are only in it for the money, but the intent behind the curtain is the same. Genocide.

As you said, there are lots of reasons for withholding judgement.
If you assume that every Palestinian and everyone who cares about Palestinians is bent on genocide of all Jews, then ethically you have no choice but to imprison or kill all of them.  Then ethically there's no difference between you and them.
No.  You have to assume, even if most Palestinians want to kill all Jews, that many do not.  If you say "kill em all and let God sort em out" then you're the bad guy, not them.

The people in America with no ill will towards the Jews and/or the Palestinians aren't in the streets causing trouble.

The people who are causing mayhem are the problem and they should be dealt with accordingly.

He's not obtuse. Like most moderates he's morally confused. He wants so bad to be seen as the reasonable man that he cannot conceive that both sides aren't bad or both sides aren't good. His confusions leads to his inability to call evil for what it is.

It's a nicer word than the one I actually want to use.

I agree whoever defaced the monument is a problem and that person or those people should go to jail for a little while.
But why are you saying anything beyond that? Don't people have a right to protest? Don't they have a right to disagree about government policy and foreign wars? If we think they are racist or anti-Semitic, we can boycott them, but we can't imprison them.  Right?

Republicans need to stop hanging their hat on abortion. SCOTUS should have left the issue alone.

Been saying this for some time ^ It was a bad gamble by the right that will bite them in the backside with female vote loss.

Yesterday Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania all clearly demonstrated how American voters feel about the state controlling women's rights too govern their bodies.

With that being said, this was also the intent of the SCOTUS ruling. Rather than be a widely sweeping federal law, they ruled to make it a state issue, which Ohio has done. Now other states will be putting it on their ballots.

While a hot button issue now, it won’t be for long after each state has codified their voter mandates.

I used to care about abortion, now honestly, I quit caring years ago. I'm leaning more towards the individual's rights..

That said, maybe the libtards will abort themselves into oblivion..

Peace through chaos..

Exactly.  I do not think a sub-60% majority of voters should be allowed to change a state Constitution.  I do not think having abortion law vary from state to state is a good idea, because it will not reduce abortion or increase health outcomes.  People who want abortions will cross state lines and people stuck in the restrictive states will have a harder time finding obstetricians.

The SCOTUS ruling also allows the US Congress and the President to step in, to establish a nationwide floor for abortion access and a nationwide ceiling.  That's what should happen, ultimately.  The floor has to be exceptions for preventing bodily harm to the mother, for rape and incest and full access to birth control pills and IUDs.  The ceiling should be some number of weeks, probably 12 or 15.  Congress needs to do the hard work of taking some uncomfortable votes on this, then hopefully it won't be an issue anymore.
