That is To Be Determined.  It is all about the campaign fund dollars. Where, What they are spent on. Who gets consulting dollars etc.   After the election all monies not spent belong to the candidate.  Why do you think Bernie Sanders kept running all those times?  Guys never had a job other than political. The current fund is Titled in the Joe/Kamela's name. Joe controls it unless he withdraws. He has total control, however, he can if he wants cede it to Kamela. I believe his son and wife have no intention of allowing that to happen. So the negotiations continue....

Maybe one day it will be cheaper, All depends on technology.

Underground housing is not a new concept.  Having grown up in southeastern Ohio it was a common practice of cutting into a hillside with the entire house underground with the exception of the front entrance.  Often the entire entryway was a glass front to add light to the living and dining area.  This was a common practice in the late 70’s and early 80’s.

Right, when the hillside is already there it's cheaper.
The first generation of whites to migrate to the Great plains often made "dugout" houses for themselves. This was due to a lack of lumber. Circumstances change, housing changes.

The people who said they were going to withhold donations until Joe drops out have to follow through on that threat.  It will take some time for Joe and the people controlling Joe to realize they are serious. If they are serious.

CNN opened the Cat Bag this morning with a piece announcing the return of military conscription. Euros are going to send their children to the "meat grinder" while third world savages rape conquer those left at home. If they expect America to give her children in such a way they can expect pushback.

Here's the actual article.  It's a good article about how some European countries have conscription and some are considering it.

And now you say they're lying?

Nope, I'm saying they are floating the trial balloon like a good little house organ. You say "It's only a few countries" while I say "They're getting the topic out there so that it's in our consciousness when they bring it forward." That's how propaganda and media influence work.

First you said CNN announced the return of military conscription, and now you say they were floating a trial balloon?

I actually read the article.  It's about how some European countries have had conscription for many years, and now others are thinking about it because they want to be prepared in case they are attacked by Russia.

Yes, I said they let the cat out of the bag. I'm sorry you're struggling with this so much, it's pretty easy to see. They are laying the groundwork to bring back the Draft by broaching the topic gently (Euros are setting this up, etc) and getting it into the discussion. If Washington came out tomorrow and said, "We've instituted the Draft, numbers will be drawn on Wednesday" people would lose their minds. Doing it this way eases it onto the table and by the time they do it they will have posted enough articles to engender enough support that the dumb half of our Country will be all in favor of it. And when you see how Democrats would benefit from sending the white conservative males in this Country off to war you begin to see WHY they are doing it.

Looks like a very straightforward article to me about things that are happening in Europe.  Not a grand conspiracy to introduce conscription in the United States.

That's because you don't look at these things holistically. It's no coincidence that certain nations are about to send their young men off to war while they are being invaded at home.

There was an article posted here in the last few weeks saying the Biden administration was working towards bringing back the draft so the idea is not far fetched.

I read a different article regarding European countries bringing back conscription and was impressed with Norway's system of having 20+ thousand active military members but can call up to a million 'reservists' if needed. I wonder how often those citizen soldiers train.

I guess so.  It's still kind of funny, though.  To me, at least.

Well, you were told to think that, so it makes sense.

I worked with a lot of Norwegians when I was a government contractor.  Their system is very different from ours.  It's pretty much a "normal job" to them (they can quit at any time or be fired for any number of reasons).  I'm not sure how their "army" works since I dealt with aircrews (pilots, flight engineers, sensor operators, etc.), but I remember one pilot instructor in particular that told me that he was "quitting" to take on a new job of the equivalent of our Secret Service.  I asked him if he needed to finish his term (as in enlistment contract) and he told me that they don't have contracts.
