Michael Bennett was projected as a round two pick by nfl.com with by far the highest grade aside from La'el Collins. The only real negatives I'm seeing as to why he might drop relate to fatigue issues as a starter, which he wouldn't be, and a "lack of power and girth in his lower half," although he did a 35 1/2" vert which suggests decent power.

He does seem to be more of a blocker than a receiver, but I'm not seeing another TE who can block.

This round is endless. Rich just getting richer.

40 picks in round 5, 41 in round 6 and 39 in round 7.

We're still not quite set a S, so how about a flyer on FS Derron Smith...

I'll pass. He honestly reminds me of Gerhart in a way despite the position difference.

He was more receiver at FSU.........the problem is that he's small by NFL standards, and kinda slow by NFL standards........so, whaddaya do with him?........some have said he might make a good sorta H-back, maybe Chris Cooley-esque. I dunno.......I'm a Nole, so I love the kid, but it is what it is.

Ben Koyack is another TE that can block.

Sounds like there's some worry about the long term health of his knee.

Aaron is a much better player, both before and possibly after the ACL injury, than Ifo.

I'm trying to understand why Michael Bennett is still falling as he should be well gone by now. I found this at cleveland.com...

Bennett's slide is reminding me a little of what happened with former Ohio State center Mike Brewster in the 2012 NFL Draft, when he wound up going undrafted. Both were good smart college players who weren't huge linemen.

Bennett certainly will be drafted Saturday at some point, but his injuries during the workout season before the draft apparently hurt him.

How would he replace Lewis? With his hands.. Easily.. O'Leary can block pretty well too..

Apparently Ifo is being red-flagged for his knee injury. He does sound like a capable CB who maybe can move to FS, although I'd feel more comfortable taking FS Derron Smith.
