Quote:Solid 4th round pick, can play ST and back up a S, at this point your not gonna get starters, you get good players who can develop, he fits a physical defense
Disagree, there were players on he board who could have pushed for significant and playing time and perhaps starting time.
Have to do more research, but his one leaves my head scratching, especially since crowder and Hardy were the immediate next two selections, and I assume Greene will be gone by the time we pick in the fifth,, not to mention several quality DT's,,,
Were the Jet scared that a different team might trade with the Jags and steal their guy? If a different team really wanted Petty, wouldn't they just offer the Jags a 6th? Anyways, the jags ended up getting a gift.
Fleener looks like an ugly girl.
Quote:Everyone seems to be saying we got a steal with Sample. Accord to twitter , Seahawks were high on him too.
I thought you said he was a bum? Or did you just not know what you were talking about?
Hahaha Colts going back to the state of Florida for their talent for like the 3rd time in 4 rounds

I was thinking the same.. Kinda neanderthal lookin chick..
I'd be happy with just about ANY Louisville Defensive player.. They were solid all around..
Great pick this draft is unbelievable and has restored my trust in Caldwell
Quote:He has been compared to Donavon Darius.
Saw Bernard Pollard as well
Can he play FS? Or is he just a SS?

None of those guys would start at WR nor would a DT

After reading how you wrote that, I feel better about the pick knowing you don't like it.
I wouldn't have batted an eye if someone took Sample in the 2nd round as an SS. Was far better than Holliman when I was studying Holliman for the Jags FS hole. How he'll translate to FS is the question of course, but another great value.

When I call someone a "bum" that means I never heard of them. That's just me.

I agree I was looking for more pure FS, but a rangy SS is not a bad pick at all

Fair enough. At least you'll own it.

Wow the Eagles just got a 3rd rounder in 2016 NFL Draft, for trading their 4th.
