Getting so bad the cops are afraid to do their job. I bet a couple of non-lethal bean bags would disperse this idiocy! It still amazes me that this stuff goes on and people make excuses on it's behalf, like it's ok. Once again the media is playing the race side of the fence. Never mind he was a criminal with a lengthy sheet, was armed, and ran from the cops. If you ask me, he's lucky he wasn't shot. Of course breaking your spine from jumping out a window could slow ya down! Oh wait, that part hasn't been aired yet.

I'm not understanding of anyone attacking police.  I'm also not understanding of someone in police custody ending up dead of mysterious spinal injuries after being arrested.

I agree on the incompetence on the Mayors and Police Chiefs office for allowing this to take place. Saying the department is corrupt because of procedural error and initial investigation is reason to destroy your neighborhood is a bit disconnected in my eyes.

I can see that view and have heard there is credible insight that just that may be occurring. I hate that the ill informed would fall down that rabbit hole though. We as a people should not ever have any type of entity to prop us up. Stand on your own two feet, you know? Frustrating!
