Another thing is that the o-line was back in the weight room as early as February trying to work on getting stronger with Joekel being one of the first there.

Perhaps the best thing I've seen in this thread. ^

Several of us speculated that his injury robbed him of crucial strength training last offseason.  He's still so young. I really hope we see a stronger, more consistent L.J. in 2015.  Not giving up on him quite yet.

The fact that this thread will not go away, we may actually be contributing to his addiction.  I know sometimes when I read the board I want to take any kind of drug that may be within reach.
It's not rocket science-

If he can contribute get him on the field!
Has he even applied for reinstatement yet, or what is the latest?

It would be awesome to wake up and see that he is officially back on the team... instead of just dreaming it.

Until something happens with his reinstatement, Justin Blackmon is nothing more than sprinkles on the ice cream.

I think Justin Blackmon will be a positive player on the field. He might not be the deep threat, but can make big plays. Most importantly, I hope his battle with alcohol has diminished

That is certainly the biggest concern. With the frequency players continuously mess up, like Gordon and Hamilton(MLB), once they get started on the bad direction, it is hard to think Blackmon will be a long term option. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

His battle with addiction will never diminish.  Ask any addict and they'll confirm that.  What we can hope for is that he will find a way to maintain control over it with support and a lot of hard work.

Sprinkles are for winners.
If everything falls into place, the Jags will come out as major WINNERS!

As for Justin Blackmon, let's all raise a glass to him, so he does not have to.

Goodell has 60 days to decide on reinstatement once Blackmon has applied, right? If so, Caldwell's expectation that he'd have a decision before the draft is in doubt.

Unless he's already applied.

If he has already applied, wouldn't we know or would we know when Goodell officially reinstates him?

I highly doubt that the status of his application would be something the NFL would discuss with the public.

Do you just lie awake at night thinking of receivers and receiver lineups?
