Which is just another way of saying, "I am denying that there is a problem because if I admit there is a problem, I'm afraid I will have to do something I don't want to do."  

 

It's putting the cart before the horse.   First, we have to decide if there is a problem, then we have to decide if we want to do anything about it.   You're doing it in reverse order.   You don't want to do anything about it, therefore you deny there is a problem.

 NO, you act like it's still a matter of indecision when it's not. They've already decided it's a problem and they've decided on a solution. No matter how often their evidence is shown to be flat wrong or worse, intentionally fraudulent, they are committed to it. Their livelihoods and self-perception depends on AGCC being true, and that's the end of it. That's why the witch hunts are starting, since the facts are showing to be against them they have to attack the messengers instead. After all, saving the planet is their religion.

You guys just pick and chose what type of control you are OK with. In this case you are OK with the control of big oil rather than environmental protection or alternative energy. Its understandable but fully disingenuous to claim one is about the control while the other is not.
