Prediction time! Who do you think will go where?

The Redskins are hiring Chargers linebackers coach Joe Barry for the defensive coordinator job.

Steam is building on Jack Del Rio-to-Oakland rumors. Nobody else got a second interview from the Raiders.

Quote:Their top candidate is Dan Quinn, who wants Kyle Shanahan to be his offensive coordinator.
Todd Bowles might be a little surprised to hear that.

Quinn wants the Falcons job according to NBC.

They were both finalists for the Jets. Based on what I have been reading, it looks like whoever the Jets hired, the Falcons would hire the other one - unless Teryl Austin blows them away at his second interview tomorrow.
All 4 HC's hired this week as of a few minutes ago are coaches with NFL coaching experience on the Defensive Side of the ball.

That's an interesting trend, isn't it?  When the Jaguars were in the market for a coach, they went against the grain by hiring a defensive minded guy in Bradley.

Just wondering; is "hire" the right word for Jim Tomsula's surprising promotion? He just got a different job title, not a new team.

That defensive trend is supposed to continue with the Falcons hiring either Teryl Austin or Dan Quinn and John Fox going to the Bears. There will likely be no offensive-minded coaches hired this year.

Yes, it's a hire.
I was shocked when I saw the breaking news headline that the 49ers hired Jim Tomsula, who was only coaching the defensive line recently, instead of Adam Gase, who was reportedly their favorite candidate.

Jack Del Rio signed a contract to join the Raiders.

Thanks for letting us know something that happened 2+ hours ago.

Not to spoil the surprise, but Rex Ryan signed a contract to be the new head coach of the Buffalo Bills.

The purpose of this thread is to report all hires regardless of how many minutes, hours, or days ago they happened.

So, if it's not referenced in this thread, does that mean it didn't happen?

I did not say that at all.

That's why I asked.

We need clarity.

Oh, thank goodness.  I had no idea how that worked.  I just randomly wander into threads and keep clicking refresh hoping someone posts something.

I never click on refresh. I go back to NFL At Large to see all of the threads and pick one that has a new post, which is sometimes the same thread I was just at.

You're either the worst poster or the best troll ever.

I'm leaning towards the latter.
