It's the easiest throws in the world, too.
This is too funny.
Armchair analysts. Laughable.
Quote:He's still a rookie. Not every pass is gonna be on the money. How about the 5 passes that were on the money and dropped?
Lee had a horrible game. It's a shame that's the way he ended this season

You can play cheerleader if you want but don't try to stop people from having actual football discussions, thanks.
Quote:Armchair analysts.
Redundant. All analysts are like this, including the ones on tv. Nobody really knows what is happening except the guys on the inside, and they're not talking.
Quote:dammit.
Unlike the Jaguars, today I play the spoiler!!!
(muah ha ha ha!)
Quote:Bust. Never draft a QB from a spread offense.
Word on the street is Drew Breese was a spread QB in college...

Wow. Playing cheerleader? You need some English lessons. Ready to condemn...or even laud...a player after less than a season on a bad roster. Laughable.

Quote:Bortles accuracy on short throws concerns me the most.
Certainly not accurate enough to be an elite guy. Cue the work on his fundamentals crowd. At the very least he has not played well enough to warrant the Jaguars behaving as if there is a franchise QB on the roster. Draft another QB with potential and let the best one play.

Yeah, the only difference is some are professional armchair analysts and the others are amateur armchair analysts, but we can all give our opinion on what we see and think.
no drops and he would have had momentum and rhythm to sustain drives. Today was more of the same. Offense is complete crude because there are too many rookies playing. The non-rookies are journeymen.

My sentence was perfect English, thanks. Now if you're not looking to discuss football you're looking for the sideline forum.

Actually, no. Armchairs are generally in living rooms and not on TV sets. And even these boneheads on TV have a hell of a lot more access than someone sitting in their living room in an ARMCHAIR.
I beg to differ on the redundancy.

I never said anything about your English but apparently you had difficulty with mine since somehow you discerned my first post as 'cheerleading'.
Quote:What the [BAD WORD REMOVED].
Kinda cute how you only pulled a piece of my post out of there.

You're welcome to do so. People on here are wrong all the time, you won't be the first or last.
In all of the Bortles threads I've seen a lot of excuses... "he's a rookie, rookie WRs, OL sucks, OC sucks, Bradley sucks etc." but not once has anybody ever given a reason why they think Bortles will be successful. Nothing that Bortles has ever done on the football field is ever mentioned. The OL being bad doesn't mean that Bortles is good. People say he's shown 'flashes'. What flashes are these? When? What games are you going to point to to say that he's shown the ability to be a franchise QB? Teddy and even Carr have had those games. Bortles hasn't. What qualities does Bortles have that make anybody think he'll be a franchise QB? Is it his accuracy? No, he routinely misses wide open receivers on easy throws. His decision making? He's replaced his terrible interceptions with terrible checkdowns. His pocket presence? It's terrible. Forget the excuses. What does Bortles do well?

Wrong as usual, Rico! All the analysts have arms on the chairs they are sitting in... Go back and look at the Fox crew... Terry, Howie, and Jimmy all have arms on those chairs...
I'm looking at the chairs that Tony Dungy, Dan Patrick, and that one cheating patriot are sitting in. I see arms on thier chairs too.
Thus they are arm-chair analysts just like us. And I must say, I think I'm much smarter than that stoopid cheater patriot guy...
