Quote:If you want to see the difference between a head coach that gets it, and Bradley, go watch the replay of Bill O Brien's press conference last night. How refreshing it was to see a head coach tell it like it is. Not sugar coat everything and be all nicey nice/ positive spin [BAD WORD REMOVED].

The Texans are in good hands and will undoubtably get more success under the O Brien regime than we will get under the Gus "country club" Bradley regime.

There is little reason to believe O'Brien is the answer in Houston.

Did you see the end of the first half? Sloppy, stupid football. Can't even imagine what you'd be saying if that was Bradley's Jaguars bumbling like that and throwing the game away.

But O'Brien got mad and pounded the podium like a tough guy so he cool.
The sky is just too blue. Somebody listen to me whine.

LOL.  He was sniffling and seemed on the verge of tears.  And…… it's a PRESS CONFERENCE!!!  A PRESS CONFERENCE??  That's how you're judging coaches now.  Pffffftt.  Gimme a break.

We need every coach in the NFL to act the same.

So now his nickname is country club.  Could you please go over some of the some of the differences in the practice regimes between the Jaguars and the Texans that lend themselves to this country club nickname?  I'd be very interested.

By the way...nicknames are really cool when you don't like players and coaches..

If that was the Jaguars last night against the Steelers, we'd have gotten a 37 page topic on lousy coaching.
Another ten pages of internet dweebs downing real humans with real jobs that none of the scumbags here could do, how original.

As I pointed out in your other thread on this topic, I don't get this criticism here.

Both O'Brien in this press conference and Bradley in other post loss press conferences identified the issues that cost them the particular game.

What is Bradley supposed to do? Have a Denny Green/Jim Mora/Mike Ditka type meltdown?
Bill O'Brien, football genius ya'll

Quote:The Texans have allowed a franchise-record 24 points in a quarter in each of the last two games. It was the first quarter against Indianapolis, and the second quarter against the Steelers. At least it took the Colts a full 11:17 to get to that total. The Steelers did it in an amazing 2:54.

I don't understand the post by Mad dog.  He compares the Bill O' Brien's to the Gus Bradley's styles of handling press conferences after their team loss . They both intricately say the same thing.  "We gotta coach better and we gotta  play better".  Here Mad dog take one of my cards

Rico, issuing out insulting nicknames is just a way for The Mad Dog to relieve stress.  It will allow him the ability in dealing with his own life's situation(s).

Can someone please ping this thread to pop back up after week 17 next year when O'Brien gets fired for not winning enough games?

Just watched the interview. I say he acted like a six year old in a tantrum. He could not control his emotions and took it out on the reporters for doing their jobs. I would put it in the category of punk, whiny, spoiled kid who embarrassed himself and his organization. No wonder the sad mongrel is hanging on his jock.

Sean Payton was awesome tho. OG fo life!

Bradley > O'Buttchin

Seriously though, I saw O'Bootychin's presser and he came off as an angry bed-wetter that cant control his emotions...

Sounds like a certain message board poster...

That is what I saw as well. Not sure what is so great about having a coach go out there and throw a tantrum. Doesn't really prove anything.

I thought at any second there was going to be a doody come squirting out that chin. Dude needs a chinstrap with a Depends in it if he is going to pressure up that dense dome to many times like that.

O'Brien and Romeo Crenell got schooled last night by Tomlin and Todd freaking Haley of all people. Lol

Totally agreed. I thought it was the WORST press conference I've seen this year.
Laughing O'Brien has 10 times the talent and only 2 more wins to show for it.

O'Brien's ship is sinking and he's freaking out, man!
