At some point the offense has to move the ball. There are no more shutouts like the ravens in 2000 did. We have to scale the thinking here. To me shutting a team out now is holding them to 10-14 points. Teams are going to score and move the ball. They have changed the rules to make this happen. When a ball control team like the clots put up 44 that mean we did absolutely nothing on offense. We didn't even change the field posistion.


The clots constantly started on the 35 plus. That stuff matters.


The game was also 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. We were still in it.

Quote:The guy can just play. He can generate offense on his own just by running the ball. We weren't even moving the line of scrimmage before he stepped in. I think things like option plays and his own ability to play off the cuff will make us a better offensive unit. With that said, I fully expect games where he throws 3 picks but I also believe he may have a 5 td game because that's just his playing style.
