Quote:he isnt starting the next one.

Yea that's nice and all, but maybe if he was ready this week, he should've started this week. Who knows, maybe we even win.
Quote:the play calling looked fine once bortles came in, the defense looked a lot better, only gave up 14 as opposed to 30 and they were already embarrassed and worn out from never getting a shot to sit. gerhart looked better. everything looked better.
This was also against their backups who were still doing what they pleased for the most part.

By the way, they shouldn't have been worn out when they gave up points on the 1st possession of the game, or the 2nd, or the 3rd, or...

And maybe they had a legitimate concern about protecting him behind a line that was cobbled together on Wednesday? Yeah, that couldn't be possible, right?
Quote:I don't recall seeing hb claiming Henne gives this team the best chance to win.

Maybe it's conjecture on my part, but he did say he wouldn't be surprised if the staff thought Henne gives us the best chance to win. Since the staff is always right and he believes everything they say and do is correct, I thought he might have that opinion as well.
Quote:these drones dont understand man

wait for Gus to have his presser tomorrow to get their thoughts

Yeah right? Because me saying the coaches know more than *you* obviously means I agree with everything they say. ROFL!

Did we suddenly sign a new line at halftime? Inject them with steroids? Poison the Colts pass rushers?

Exactly. Indy inserted their backups in the 4th quarter and still moved the ball effectively. The defense is struggling.

So saying he thought this was the position of the coaching staff is somehow what he believes to be the case?

Conjecture? I'd say so.

I did say that. Do you understand that me conjecturing what the coaches might be thinking is different than expressing an opinion?

Is English not your native language? Seriously, no offense but if it isn't, I'll try to put things in simpler terms when I reply from now on.

No. We were 30 points down, and we were facing arguably one of the weakest pass rushes in the league. It was the perfect situation.

Yea, that's why I ASKED him if that was his opinion...

And the back pedaling begins. LOL

Right. I didn't know for sure if that was your opinion. That's why I inquired whether it was in the form of a question. You still haven't answered it so I'll ASK it again.

categorically wrong. i mean just completely wrong.

the Colts blitzed several times in the second half, and Bortles still beat them for the most part. only had one sack, i believe.

thats much better than your guy Henne.
Quote:Is it your opinion that Henne gives us the best chance to win (haha) or did you steal that gem from the coaching staff?

Notice those little squiggly things at the end of that sentence? They imply a question is being asked. Not a definitive statement. An inquiry to gain information.

give them time, they're looking for the Gus press conference that will give them the answers.

Hey, thanks for asking!

I personally think that Bortles gives us the best chance to win next week now that Gus has decided he's learned what he needed. I was personally on the fence a little the first two weeks knowing how hard it is for rookies to come into this league and play. So even though I felt like he was a better athlete, it seemed reasonable that Bradley was in a better position to make that call since he sees the guy in practice every week and I don't.

I think we're still up against it next week and unlikely to win because our defense still has huge issues but Bortles will become an elite QB soon in my opinion.

you forgot to put quotes around "your" comments lol
Quote:This is where your entire effort falls apart. I've never once subscribed to the notion he has a fragile psyche that's going to leave him scarred for life by being hit. Keep flailing away though.

My main concern was that the line can't protect him, which could absolutely expose him to risk of PHYSICAL injury. You do understand the difference, yes? Or do I need to type more slowly so you can catch up?
Something tells me that Jerrad is totally trolling and you're eating it up. Surely he isn't that much of a dunce. He has to be trolling for the lulz.
lol Jerrard knows more than a lot of you posting in this thread
