Honestly this whole thread was trash from the start. Jerrard has started numerous threads and posted in numerous threads since the start of the season and 90% of his posts have been just sarcastic rhetoric about henne as the starter.


He was looking for an argument and he got it. It was unnecessary and didn't provide the grounds for any intelligent debate or even different than a multitude of other threads where he did this same thing already.


Bortles came in when the team was down 30-0, most of us were saying there will be a point when the coaches think its time to go with bortles. That happened today.


It probably isn't great to have him behind that line but at this point henne was so bad that for the sake of the franchise they made the switch.


So to sum that up, they felt Blake was ready and even though the line may not be up to snuff, they think at this point he can handle it.

I said I'd rather have Henne taking the beating behind that line than to risk injuring our draft pick while the line developed. How is that a wrong thing to say exactly?


The line is still suspect, and that is a very real and legitimate concern.

Then clearly youre only looking for the negative posts. I have been posting a little less because of a shift change at work that started last week but I post plenty about the team and my opinion on it, if you aren't seeing that then your eyes are just seeing what they want to see.


And realistically the post that you're replying to is me giving my opinion on the bortles situation, not a sarcastic quip, so I'd consider that a contribution...

I got what I wanted this week, it's too bad so many others feel the need to beat their chests and bleat on about something they still don't know whether or was right or wrong. I guess everyone feels validated by the move yesterday, even those with different ideas about how the last few weeks have gone.

Most of the posters in this thread validate why I don't often post for sure. It's a lot of rambling back and fourth where I see people going at it like a bunch of 1st graders fighting over the last blue rasberry dum-dum. I feel sad now having spent the last 5 minutes reading this thread and realizing I'll never get those minutes back. I figured I should add more value to my time and grab a 30lb dumbell and curl while reading. At least it's productive life spent I suppose. 

 

Seriously though, assuming that you're all adults. Don't you sit back and kind of look at how silly and immature it is when some of you are going back and fourth like you are?

You know the answer to this.  He is in that group which prefers whatever the coaches do.  So if they're playing him, he's for that.  If they're not playing him, he's for that.
