This team has a history of opposing teams making adjustments at halftime to dominate the Jaguars.  The Jaguars usually come out the second half lost and uninspired.   What is the real issue?

Not enough Gus juice.

called inept QB play. As the leader of the offense he has to string together some drives. Never been a thing that Gabbert or Henne could do.

Both. Gus Bradley is overrated and has PROVEN absolutely zero so far.

The announcers give the Eagles offense too much credit. That was all Jags defense and offense. Sproles blown TD. Ertz blown TD. Maclin blown TD. Can't convert an inch on offense + 3 free TDs = You deserve to lose

It's a combination of things. You've got a young team that needs to learn how to put games away. You've got a defense that got gassed against the fast paced Eagles offense. You've got young players making mistakes. The list goes on.

Why did they get gassed?

It's both, but mostly we still just aren't that talented.  Couple of coaching gaffes, but our offense is going to be pathetic and that's with Henne or Bortles because our OL can't make any room for running.

This isn't even a knee jerk reaction.  I'm not shocked that we lost but I'm shocked how poorly this team played in the second half.

-Blown coverages resulted in 14 points for the iggles

-3rd down was a joke for this team.  We allowed too many first downs and couldn't buy one most of the game.

chill bro...too many weapons on offense out for Jags and Cyprien being out was HUGE...if we had Blackmon, CS3, and Ace Henne would have more options.

Do we prefer an extreme high and an extreme low or consistantly average?

 

At least we know the team can play well based on the first quarter, but we also know we can play extremely terribad based on the rest of the game.

It also seemed this team got too conservitive.

Yea it seemed like the Sproles run and TD by Maclin were a direct result of poor safety play...those 2 plays cost us the game!

I would rather have a team that is consistent.  It sucks to get your hopes up to see them dashed by the 4th quarter.   As I said I'm not shocked that we lost but how we lost.  When your up 17-0 at halftime and get shut out 33-0 in the second half it's a problem.
