Gerhart using the term "dominate" is a bit much before he even plays one down as a starter. ....Or maybe thats just me,...right?

If he'd said he just hopes he can live up to expectations, you'd howl and complain that he lacks the confidence to be successful in the league, and Caldwell should be called into question for signing a player like this and giving him the money they did.


Since he said he's ready for his shot to become a dominant player at his position, you're complaining that he's showing too much confidence. There really is nothing anyone can do on this team that will satisfy your amazingly high "virtual" standards. You'll pick whatever position you need to in order to be critical of the team.

expounding on his point. Gerhart is pretty good in blitz pickup and has decent hands, so he could still be valuable even in passing situations.

He should be a solid contributor as an outlet in the passing game.

Robinson is not built to be a starting HB in this league. He'll be a nice change of pace weapon, thats pretty much the ceiling here.

And you're just self important enough to think you will set the standard by which he should be held accountable.

I think he used the term 'dominant' as an expectation, or bar for himself. I 'can' be dominant. Not "I am dominant."


And yes there is a difference.

Gerhart is the best RB in the AFCS

I can agree with that, I see Foster taking an MJD type downward spiral after all of his injuries.

I think Denard will be an awesome compliment with Toby if he can just hold onto the ball. He also put on about 12 pounds and that should help him. Hope he pans out and makes a difference. If not no big deal. He was a low risk high reward pick.

No.  He didn't actually.   He said "I think I can be dominant."   

Is there anybody else who "can't not" come to these boards each day multiple times even though its the same stuff day in day out? TMD goes on a rant, gets called on it by everybody else and ridiculous ensues.

 

I'm not gonna lie, I kind of hate that I love these boards so much to come back day after day. Maybe its just me.
