Who peed in your Cheerios? We are fans that what we do. Sure, some have lofty goals. Some people are excited. We know youre bent out of shape with shad and decided not to renew your tickets but, that doesn't mean you have to be such a downer. Ok guys, everyone settle down. The chief has spoken. The jags suck. Let's end this thread. They won't have any more than four wins at best next year.

The same song as last year, and the year before, and the year before.....................we're better than last year! Yeah, maybe we are but until we see it on the field it's only hope. What have we done up to now that convincingly proves it?

 

Let's see, Blackmon is suspended, Joeckel is coming off an ACL, we have no pass rusher, we have a has-been QB, our best RB is gone, our center is retired, we've signed a few FA's who were let go by other teams, whoopdy doo.

 

I can see us building, but to say we're a 9 win team based on the personnel changes is nothing more than hope. We would have to go throughout the entire season without losing any starters to injuries for that to happen, and that ain't happening.

I wouldn't describe Henne as a "has been".

My saying that right now it is a 4 or 5 win roster, with the projected schedule we have for 2014 represents and improvement. 

 

You can attribute the wins to whatever you like, I see no reason as to why this team isn't at the least a 6 win team. The 2014 schedule is much easier than last years anyway.

I can't go any further without commenting on how your classification of Henne as a "has-been" suggests that he ever was.

 

In fact, I won't go any further. Your opinion is what it is, but I think you're gloom and dooming it. The days of Del Rio are no longer upon us. The cloud of Mularkey has been lifting. We've got something that Jacksonville fans haven't experienced since 1999--hope.

What a difference from two years ago, when no one had any optimistic predictions for the up coming season of the jaguars. The fan base is excited about where this team is headed and rightfully so. If we land Mack and have as good a draft as last year I think your 9-7 is a remote but possible reality. This type of turn around has been done before by NFL teams. I think most fans would agree that 8 and 8 is a real possibility, so why is it so far fetched to imagine one more win! Go Jaguars.!

Could be wrong here but i believe the regular season rec was 14-2 with a loss in the AFC Champ game, all 3 losses that year were to a team i will not mention but a team that we all hate.
