That's the NFL for you.
I think we can easily push for .500 with this schedule. Compared to the last couple years, it's not bad and I expect the defense to make strides. While the offense won't be world beaters, hard to believe we have an 8 game stretch like we had to begin last year. We'll probably still be dogs in most of our games, at least early.
How did those Houston games look when the schedule came out last year?

And I think teams like the Giants and Steelers seem scarier to the OP because of the uniform, not who is wearing them.

I can't stand west coast games.. Hopefully Gus can reverse the curse..

I agree with this.  It's more rare that a rookie comes in and dominates than otherwise.  A great draft hitting on the right player or two might produce this, but more often than not, your rookies will have a steep learning curve their first year which means they won't have as much positive impact on your squad as some on here are estimating they will.  I'm fairly confident Chad Henne will still be the best QB on this roster come opening day no matter who we draft.  Whether a change comes during the season remains to be seen, but I would bet the coaching staff and front office hopes Chad plays the whole season versus him playing poorly or getting injured and having to trot out the rookie.
As the roster stands now, I see 5-6 wins, with another good draft I could see 7 or 8 wins.

0-16

Cause I'm hardly ever right..

10 and 6.

Beat Wash, Cowgirls, texans x 2, titans x 2, clots x 1, Clev, Mia, pitt

Lose to clots, Ravens, Chargers, Bengals, Philly, NYG

I expect 3. Mack, 39. WR, 70. G/C, Murray (or best available QB) in fourth a RB and LB, Secondary and D-line competition/depth with the rest of the picks. I think this draft will prove to have been strong in the future but will not necessarily make the team that much better this year. Also, I think we'll end up taking our true franchise QB next year.
Before the draft? As the roster is today? 2 maybe 3?

Quote:0-5 or 1-4 ?   Not sure if reality just hit or what but I'm seeing 3 wins.  1 vs Titans and 2 of the following Skins Titans Phins or 1 decent upset (browns, texans).   Why does every team look so difficult !!

6 - 10 Record. Very Streaky Season IMHO With The Team Still Young And Learning.

Not a single team on our schedule i'm seeing as a 100% loss.

Hrmm... that early schedule seems a little brutal.  I could see this team, depending on the quarterback, opening 0-4.  I also think they could be 4-6 by the bye, however.  I'll wait til after the draft to make a full season prediction, but this is certainly interesting.

All I know is, I can't wait to see the Stillers get popped in the mouth.

'Welcome to duval, prepare to be hit.'

Lol at a 4 win prediction. That's laughable.
Serious question...who do you think we are going to draft that is going to come in and give us the 3 - 4 game swing in wins?  Mack will not do that...Clowney will not do that...Watkins won't...I don't understand why everyone is like "wait until after the draft"...most rookies don't make that big of an impact in the win column on their team outside of a great QB...there are NO once in a lifetime players in this draft..

I voted for 6 too quickly. I forgot about blank #2!!
Quote:5 wins at best. Why?

No Geno....  *breaks down into uncontrollable sobbing and temper tantrum*
Fixed
I expected 6 wins before the schedule was released, and I still believe in 6 wins. Anything less would be pretty disappointing.
why were you expecting 6 wins?  Just curious
