I am not going to read all of that bro.

dam...sorry, I know there's a fine line on here between getting the point across, making it entirely understandable, and not being long winded.

I for one will go to Jags games if we draft Manziel. He aint Tim Tebow. You guys are stupid as hell if you think he's Tebow. He's got a lightning fast release and he's accurate, plus he's faster and quicker than Tebow. He had the best first 2 years of QB stats ever in college football and carried his gotdamn team past #1 Alabama.

We are getting Manziel. Take that [BAD WORD REMOVED] to the bank and cash it like yor mamas welfare check. This is the Falcons drafting Vick all over again. Total no brainer. You guys are idiots for even contemplating this. This puts us on the map now and forever.

GET ON THE JOHNNY TRAIN OR GET RUN THE [BAD WORD REMOVED] OVER!!!!!

That's one hell of a screenname and first post, lol.

No, seriously though Shack. I don't think Jaguars fans can quite wrap their minds around the financial impact on the entire city of having the most popular non-pro athlete in the nation(soon to be pro) in our city and as the face of our franchise. We've been trying to build-up/spruce up our downtown, especially around the stadium for years. It's amazing what some of these mega sports stars can do to/for smaller cities.

Just ask Cleveland what having Lebron James did for their city, and it's financial impact on Cleveland's economy when he left.

Some financial experts estimated that the value of the Cleveland franchise dropped 200-million dollars the minute his 'decision' went public. And countless millions seemingly lost in bars, transportation, hotels, etc, etc, that having the biggest name in sports brought to the city.

It's all conjecture at this point of course, but hopefully I'm making some sense.

LeBron had multiple YEARS of hype(SI/ESPN doing features on him back during his freaking freshman/sophomore years in HS) along with being a sure-fire can't miss NBA prospect who was also a local/regional legend. Manziel is nowhere near that and it's foolish to even try and make that comparison. I'm not dismissing Manziel's NFL future or anything, but LeBron James was a once-in-a-lifetime thing and Manziel's just a pretty popular college QB.

Manziel WAS college football for two straight years [BAD WORD REMOVED]. His name is Johnny [BAD WORD REMOVED] Football. The first freshman ever to win the heisman.

You didn't even know who Kalil Mack was until a couple months ago. And Clowney had one awesome hit then made 3 gotdamn sacks last year. THree.

Please turn in your balls on the way to the exit.

A bit harsh, but for real, I love football, and even I didn't know who Khalil Mack or Blake Bortels were till about 2/3 through the season. And Mack is considered "elite". I like Manziel better as the face of the Jaguars, but definitely think Clowney is by far the best over all talent in the draft. Either way, I'd be happy with either one.

Johnny is not Tebow let me start by saying that. Tebow was a over drafted over hyped savior that was gonna save the Jags, the Jags wanted nothing to do with him.

Johnny IMO is the best QB in this draft, is he a smart pick at 3 that's a major question, would i be open to a trade back and taking him, yes. Is he worth the 3 pick when you could possibly get a Carr, or a Mettenberger in round 2, that's a tough pill to bite IMO, however Johnny Football has more talent and more skill in his pinky finger than that crap know as Tebow does. Tebow could not even get any better in NE a team that has the best HC, and one of the top QB'S in the NFL, sorry but Tebow is garbage,

Laughing In case you didn't know, college football was fairly popular before Manziel came along and it will survive quite nicely next year after he's gone.

You realize a nickname is just a nickname, right? They don't come with superpowers.

Ahh, the Heisman Popularity Trophy. Tebow has one of those doesn't he? So do Jason White, Eric Crouch and Chris Weinke.

Some of us knew who Mack was more than a couple months ago and while Clowney's work ethic is open to criticism, his physical skills are undeniable.

A smart GM uses his brain and isn't swayed by testosterone or media hype.

I've been told Johnny Football had the highest wonderlic test of all the top QB's in this years draft

Talked to multiple assistant coaches who have had Johnny on private team visits. All raved about his intelligence.

The avg wonderlic score for a starting QB in '12 was 29, anything above 30 is outstanding. Johnny scored above both numbers
