Quote:Exactly.  I don't see how anyone could dismiss Bradley as a factor in landing players here going forward.  If all things are equal, he's the lynchpin that helps close the deal.  Players are confirming what my point was with this thread.

No, he's not going to be able to sway every player, but he's certainly going to be a positive for anyone looking at the Jags.

This notion that he hasn't closed any big name free agents that those dismissing this have used as their great defense just doesn't hold water.  The team hasn't indicated they were going to pursue the high profile (and higher dollar) free agents.  The big ticket guys they've targeted, they've landed for the most part.  And when each one comes away saying the coach was a factor, it's hard to dismiss.
big ticket FA will come when we start winning consistently again. No one was going to Seattle till they started turning it around.

As well Seattle hasen't had to use a ton of big name free agents to win either. They've built a solid foundation through the draft.
nfl.com has caught on as well.

"Jaguars taking advantage of pipeline from Seattle"

Boy this board sure knows how to put a spit shine on a turd

I do not like Bradley's personality. Therefore, your assertion is not only incomplete, but also incorrect.

Carry on.
On PFT,  Toby Gerhart discussed the role of Gus Bradley in helping lure the RB to Jacksonville:

To a man, every free agent signed by the Jaguars mentioned cited positive impressions of Bradley as factors in their decision. It's almost like a cult, they run these guys through a tour that culminates in a Powerpoint Gus Juiceathon, then get their John Hancocks on the dotted line before they get protein in their system.

Gus is like Richard Simmons.  Everybody is beautiful.
