I am just having some fun. I honestly haven't really looked at many of the other quality first round talents because I didn't see the need since we won't be picking again to the #7 pick of the 2nd round.
So I don't really know anything about him. To me though I wouldn't have gone DT at 10 after that Alualu mess.......I would have taken the CB.
or Mike Evans.

I didn't go DT at 10. That's BAP all the way.

Master of all pro scouts Gil Brandt
11. Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota
Hageman (6-foot-5, 315 pounds) is a hard player to grade. He didn't play many plays because the Gophers ran him in and out, and he lined up at both defensive tackle and defensive end. He might be too tall to be a DT in the NFL, but is good enough to convert to end. He's very athletic and was the top-rated tight end out of high school.

Or he made it really funny and entertaining - depending on your perspective.
I can't stop laughing.
(You guys should post a list of the picks thus far)
C'mon JC.. DT isn't even in the top 5 team needs. He's a guy Burmeister said needs to overcome a lot of tape where he "takes plays off." Cannot imagine Caldwell would make this move or that he will go in the top 10 picks in the actual draft. He's a boom-or-bust player and I think there are other guys the Jags would be better served taking. Of course.. in this scenario, you are the GM, so.. enjoy.
I approve JC pick. Dt will improve the defense as a whole.May seem a bit of a reach but id say the line needs more help than secondary or wr corp. Hopefully in our fantasy world he works out better than Alualu
If we draft a DT in the first round I am taking a bottle of bourbon back to the bedroom for some alone time.

We need football players. I got the best player available.
i would have gone with Bortles myself there or hell even robinson.
But its not my team
That's highly debatable JC. But hey.. it's your draft. Three years from now you can say, told ya so. I know I would have gone a different direction, based on team needs, but it wasn't my pick.
Wait so JC would you stick him at end or tackle? End could make some sense, but if you stuck him at Mark's spot its a waste.
Id say he replaces Alualu so we can finally get him out of here.

Hey, I'm done. Another defensive lineman to throw into the defensive line mix. The DL unit has a brand new baby brother. Take care of your baby brother. Raise him right and look after for him.

Check medical on him.
Well at least things are moving along. BTW EAGLES @ #22 still looking to trade out of first round

might come back in for the bucs 2nd and 5th and a 4th next year
Quote:Tyson Hegeman-lu?
Try Big John Henderson without the chronic back problems.
Hageman is a defensive lineman similar to the
"Doomsday Defense" style of players Tom Laundry coached in Dallas.
He is NOT a replacement, but a prospect with elite talent in his size group. He will fit right in with all the guys in the DL unit.
EDIT:
For those with remaining questions, here's a little more from one of
the most comprehensive evaluations of Hageman out there.
System Fit
The best fit for Hageman might be as a tackle in the 4-3. The reality is he can play both nose and the 3-tech and it might ultimately depend on what the other player a team has can do that determines his role. He might be slightly better suited for the nose simply because he of his bull in a china shop nature but his athleticism is intriguing for either spot. It really comes down to what a team wants and that might increase his value. He has the ability to line up in a power set with another nose and really clamp down on the run, but he can certainly provide help in obvious passing situations as part of a smaller, more athletic group.
Hageman will also be extremely attractive to teams that run a 3-4 as a 5-technique end. Because of his length and strength at the point of attack, he can be a dominating run defender in a 2-gap system while maintaining the athleticism to rush the passer from there. In addition, he can kick inside as a rush tackle at times.
god forbid Jungle Cat and JagWomen ever mate together
