I'll check back in then.
So it was San Fran's pick to make. He a good one.

Unless I'm mistaken (again) the Buffalo Bills are now on the clock...

I was hoping he would drop a few more picks. Oh well, atleast we still got Sammy
Beckham is my favorite receiver not named Watkins/Evans. Who ever gets him jn the tail end of the 1st or 2nd is getting a play maker. Jarvis Landry is also a good one. Landry has some of the best hands I've ever seen

Beckham was auto-picked to the Oakland Raiders earlier tonight. (post 42 on the picks thread)

Let's just say Hageman and Quarles are what JC says they are, then that defense will be coming right along and it would be seriously good. You could take the QB and a LB in the third, stash the QB pretty much and let Henne take the pounding this year. From the 4th round on, take a C, then OL and a WR, hoping to hit on the C/OL guys...maybe take a flier on another QB late.

Don't you think that if you went QB at #3, you'd have to go OL at 39 and third rd to protect him? You can't put $25 million behind Rackley, Brewster and Nwaneri.

Free Agency.

Not if I my plan is to get better through the draft.

Bill Walsh always said to get the quarterback first. That's all nice and fine and it sounds, good, but it still doesn't explain why he passed on his quarterback twice before drafting him in the third. (He didn't have a first, but still could have thrown everything he had to get one)

So a quality offensive line only becomes vital for the next man up?

JaguarKick,

You you....never mind.

Did I steal your pick?

I was hoping he'd fall a few more spots to the Cowboys.

No. You must have missed the Senior Bowl.

The next two prospects are obviously the guys who struggled badly at the senior bowl practices and ended up doing a world of harm to their draft stock. This is not to say that they’ve destroyed their draft stock or that they’ll never become a quality NFL player, but for now, they’re dropping like a stone.

The first one is Cyril Richardson, O-Lineman from Baylor. First off, he showed up about 20 lbs heavier than his standard 325 lbs playing weight. This is a major red flag for NFL teams.

It means he spent his time from the Bowl game to the Senior Bowl working out at a BBQ buffet.

This columnist thinks that the best way to look at these all-star games is to look at them as a job interview, and Richardson showed up at his first interview wearing a ripped up T-shirt that reads “who fearted?” Compounding this for Richardson is that he was embarrassed left and right in the individual and team drills.

For a guy who showed up 20 lbs overweight, he showed a surprising lack of power and strength. His footwork looked very bad (he puts his feet too close together) and just looked like a project.

Richardson initially projected out as a 20-50 pick, but now he’s probably a 3rd day guy. Especially with the rise of guys like Zach Martin (whom numerous D-Linemen said was the toughest guy they faced during the season), of Notre Dame, and Jack Mewhort, of Ohio State.

Something that also kept getting mentioned by the scouts and that could clearly be seen on the tape is that Richardson struggles badly facing anyone remotely quick. He just can’t move well in space.

The Titans are overdue by several hours.

Meanwhile the Giants GM has sent me a private message. Enclosed was the New York Giants' second round pick and a request to announce their pick.

I will post it and since there are no other posts concerning a auto-pick for the Titans their slot will remain open, I guess.
Thank you, JC.

Although you could have at least given my new WR a picture to acompany his draft selection. :whistling:

Detroits pick is in. I'll add a pic when I get home this evening I'm not sure how to do that from my phone.
The Titans picked needs to be made.
