thats why i made this thread but maybe some people cant read that good

I'm sure Cleveland doesn't even know it's their turn. They may not even know it's started yet. It's all very confusing. The year I remember participating in, it was very organized and worked well in this format.

This topic is just a lounge.  And SilentJaguar hasn't been on since Noon yesterday.

yes, read the first post. Trade and draft discusion in here and use the other thread to make your pick or trades only

Except there is no other thread yet.  Not one that doesn't include signups.  Most people have agreed we need a separate topic from the signup topic for the actual draft.

Can you edit this to insert this into the topics portion of the thread.
Train Wreck!

well make one and post the first 3 picks and the trade that happened and who is on the clock. In the title you might need to put picks and trades only. I still think some people dont understand. Its the same way on every other forum i have been on except this one. The other forums the people get it lol

The draft was supposed to start twenty-four hours AFTER the last GM came onboard.

Per OP

*Draft starts 24 hours after the last team is selected

I believe that is Kotite.

But...

With the first pick in the 2014 draft, the Houston Texans select....
In other news Eagles are still reviewing options for trading out of the first round.

at pick #22 people are waiting to see who falls, but things could get interesting once we get closer to the pick. Some offers have already been discussed but nothing is set in stone at the moment.

Done. But I won't be able to get to a computer to format it for another hour. But this will help for now.

So the new thread is for final picks and the public disclosure of trades NOT vetoed?

The trades should not be publicly disclosed until final. We GMs should keep them in private messages between ourselves, and any moderator that has a GM job will refrain from having a look at what's up.

When we agree as GMs, they are publicly disclosed on THIS thread for a chance to veto them.

Then, if not vetoed, they are posted they are sent to the new thread.

I kinda like this GM lounge. Nice pad.

A little lounge music?

Dude looks like me!

Hmmmm.

On the rocks...I say!

Somebody needs to tell Goodell his Super Bowl is gonna be 'on the rocks'!

I gave the Browns until 4:36 to make their pick as it should have expired at 8:36 but there was some confusion.

Thanks so much!
Boring... This things needs to be moving faster.

I am guessing the Browns are going to wait to the last minute to make that pick.

*GM has 12 hours to make their selection (Most of us are on here enough to where this shouldn't be an issue)

*If GM fails to make pick in allotted time, I will make the pick based on suggestions from other posters via PM

I be unfair I am going to submit what could be considered a reach. Mike Evans

In the event that Silent Jaguar doesn't arrive to make the pick we should discuss the auto-pick?

I vote for Mike Evans with the #4 pick. I know its a reach but he should pair nicely with Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron
I'll load some stuff in here...

4. Cleveland Browns

Record: 4-12

Team needs: QB, RB, OG

Analysis: I will be very surprised if this selection is anything other than a quarterback. The Browns are loaded with extra picks in this draft, and they could package a few of them to move up for a QB.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/mock-drafts

Four NFL.com mock drafts. For Cleveland: two are Manizel, one Teddy, and one Clowney.

http://walterfootball.com/draft2014.php

Cleveland Browns: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M

I gave the Browns a "D" grade for getting rid of Rob Chudzinski so quickly, as you can see in my Black Monday Coach Firing Grades page. Reports have trickled out that the Browns are smitten with Johnny Manziel, and they fired their coach because Chudzinski didn't like the Texas A&M product very much. It makes sense, as Manziel wasn't a particularly good fit for Chud's system, but he's talented and intriguing enough to be chosen in the top 10. It wouldn't surprise me if he went No. 1 overall.

The Browns obviously have to grab a quarterback with one of their two selections. Brandon Weeden is awful with his backhanded, underhanded and hook-shot passes. Brian Hoyer was decent in his two full games, but he's likely not the long-term answer. Jason Campbell will be released soon. Cleveland's new regime has to find the quarterback it wants to roll with going forward.

I am only messing around. I just hate that this dude hasn't made his pick yet. this is why these things get boring.........

I think most of believe the pick should be Manziel or Bortles.
