10.21% YTD but only 3.18% since Aug 2018

The high spike in 2019 was due to the downfall on December 26 2018.

Today's looking great !!!

I think all markets are at risk now.
When the long-delayed correction comes, I can see stocks at NO BID and gold at NO OFFER. Good luck dumping your portfolio then.
Might be a good buy opportunity soon, but for now I'm pretty much sitting on the sideline in cash and bonds.  Three big things are the largest contributors to the sell off that we are seeing.

1.  The inverted treasury yield.  We are one of the few economies with a positive interest rate, therefor lots of foreign money is pouring in to bonds.  I can see perhaps a rate cut of 50 points in early September.

2.  Chaos in Hong Kong.

3.  The trade/currency war going on right now between the U.S. and China.
Greenspan says we are headed for negative interest rates, but not to worry. He says zero is just a number like any other and negative rates are meaningless.
Trump is now being insulted by Fredo for not aging enough during his term. Cause of not aging is due to not caring enough.

You just can't make this stuff up.

Meh, he's deflecting and trying to remain relevant. I think most folks with any sort of brain activity have moved beyond the name calling and stupidity to concentrating on what issues are being addressed. The resist movement is just pushing the turds to the surface!

lol ... Priceless! "moved beyond name calling and stupidity" ... "pushing turds to the surface".

Is there a higher surface than the Presidency?
There is so much winning going on right now it is hard to keep up.

Still not tired of it though!

The Presidency is pretty much nothing. A maximum of 8 years.

People have been in the Senate screwing up for decades.. That's who needs to go and they are being outed for the morons that they truly are. They've just never been called out on their own incompetence and stupidity before.
Democrats have pretty much re-elected President Trump this week.
  • Screw up a primary.  Check
  • Great State Of The Union Address.  Check
  • Meltdown from Nancy Pelosi.  Check
  • Acquittal of the bogus impeachment articles.  Check
  • Economy strong.  Check
Democrats pretty much have nobody that can come close to beating him in the general election.  Their current "chosen one" (Joe Biden) is failing miserably in the democrat primary.  The leaders are a socialist and an ignorant 38 year old mayor.

Pocahontas and "the chosen one" are probably going to be out by next week.
November is a long way away. That's an eternity in modern politics.
Don't push me cuz I'm close to the edge.

I saw this on Facebook.  At least it sounds like no one was hurt.  Very scary that we share the world with people who think violence is better than votes.
Also sad that some here think that anyone who disagrees with them is this type of crazy. And sad that some here think that the left has any kind of monopoly on this kind of violent craziness.

The left doesn't have a monopoly on violence, but they definitively are responsible for the vast majority of political violence.
The US led all countries in the reduction of energy related CO2 emissions inn 2019.

So much for the Paris climate accord.
