You'd have to be foolish not to have Clowney at the top of the board.

In a way they got the Mario Williams pick right however it didn't help their Superbowl chances ultimately he left

That's actually even more ammo for the QB argument. Even when you do hit on an all world DE you still don't win jack if you don't have a franchise QB.
As always, if Dave deems there to be a franchise QB prospect available at 3 he will take him, even if Clowney is on the board. As he should too, every time. The flip side of course is that if he doesn't then you don't force it and you take Clowney, Mack, or Watkins and you are still very happy.
