So, bottom line here.....whats the highest we can draft? 3rd? And lowest is 8th?

2nd if the Redskins beat the Giants and we lose.
If Clowney and Teddy are gone im really hoping for Mack at 3. Awesome dude and awesome player. Ive got to see him play live for 2 years and he is everything you want in a LEO, and he can also play SAM as well.

Explosive. Already has an inside move and outside moves. Great leverage and hand usage. Can bend the corner. Him or Clowney would be a perfect fit.

Im one of those who thinks QB > everything but I cant get on the bandwagon of a QB like Carr who is so nervous with bodies around him. Norv Turner once said he only evaluates college QBs when theyre under pressure. Carr really scares me there. Bortles is aight and I wouldnt be upset with that pick, but i admittedly have a huge bias for Mack.
Quote:HOW CAN YOU BE A JAGS FAN AND ROOT FOR THE BRONCOS IN WEEK 6?

Easily. I wanted the Jaguars to play much better than we did all year and make the Broncos work for it. I did not root against the Jaguars at all, just wanted Denver to win. That is not the same as hoping we lose. Do you understand?

Quote:She gets mad at people who wanted the team to tank yet she was rooting for Denver?

C'mon woman!

Tankers hoped we lose every week for draft pick reasons. I wanted Denver to win for playoff reasons. Big difference. It was only one game.

Quote:By saying you wanted the Broncos to win yet maintain the team shouldn't tank you void yourself of the right to tell anyone how this team should or should not treat this season.  You straight up cheered on the other team then come on here and post like you care. How does it feel to be a traitor BENEDICT?

Also Denver sucked until they got Peyton.

Like Frailbones, you totally missed the point that this is only one game and I was not rooting against the Jaguars for draft pick reasons. How does hoping the Broncos win to avoid falling behind the Chiefs, who were still undefeated, make me a traitor? Every other week we lost, I was mad that we lost.

Denver did not suck before Peyton. Tim Tebow won a playoff game and was given the starting job before he became trade bait. Now let's not derail the thread with stupid arguments about that and just talk about the worst teams in the NFL.

Makes sense.

Are you positive?

I thought that the 2nd pick was locked in.

I hope u are right.

Redskins win + Jaguars loss = #2

If everyone loses: #8

The Redskins are 3-12. If they win, their final record will be 4-12. We win the SOS tiebreaker.

if www.stevielovesthejaguars.com is correct, we will get the #2 pick if Jags lose and Washington wins...I'm rooting for the Redskins this week.

I wonder if there is any chance Coachlin make his team tank against the Redskins to help out the Jags drafting position??

Afterall Jax gave him his first NFL coaching job, his Jay Fund charity is still based here so he comes here every year and he says he loves jacksonville.

Why not tank to help us out and show how much he loves Jax??

I don't see the Jags beating Indy at Indy so we shouldn't have to worry about that part of it.

No.

Not sure that it will even be necessary.

The Giants haven't been worldbeaters this year, so I'd say a realistic possibility exists that they could lose vs the Redskins.

Do you even know who Tom Coughlin is? If you did I don't think you'd even ask the question.

Unlike some of the tankers around here Coughlin has never come across as a loser and I don't think he'd want his team to be perceived as one either.

I'm always worried about Coughlin having a stroke when his team is playing poorly. I don't think he'd ever even conceive of advocating losing a game on purpose.
2nd overall pick imo is very possible. Redskins should beat the Giants and we should lose to the Colts but who knows

I don't think the Redskins "should" win, but they certainly can do that.

Does anyone else here wish it did not have to be against Tom Coughlin?
I kinda regret being tied with so many people. I wish if we lost and Washington won that we would still get the third so we can get the second pick of the second instead of the 8th or 9th

Forget it. There are five 4-11 teams. If the Redskins win and everyone else loses, there will be six 4-12 teams. So whether we are 2 or 3 in the first round, we will be 8 or 9 in the second round.
