I was surprised that Bortles played decently for a change. Not great mind you, but not horribly. You can't blame the loss on him for once. Terrible officiating (what else is new?) and some questionable special teams action. At least it was competitive.
It's official. Bills beat the Jaguars 28-21 and Gus Bradley's record during the regular season is 14-45 since he was hired as the Jaguars Head Coach in 2013.
We managed to keep the turnovers down and it was a close game. The refs have be really annoyed at football right now. A special teams blunder and a defensive meltdown in the second half doomed us. Four straight drives of we couldn't stop them.
I think this was the worst bunch of ref calls/non-calls I've seen in a while.
And we didn't even have the normal jagwired play. Progress baby. Gus needs a 8 year extension.

But,
- he engineered a few nice drives
- got it done with his legs on some big plays
- NO TURNOVERS!
Much better.
Jags have a real shot at winning games if he just plays like that. No turnovers and using his legs,, I'll take it.
This game was not on him.
Special Teams coverage in the 1st half,, coaching gaffes,, horrible officiating did this game in.

It was easily Bortles' best game in weeks.
