If it wasn't for that last Colts offensive drive, Donald Brown has "bad" too.

Honestly, this offensive line is just atrocious. No running room all game (except for last drive) and Luck was hit & sacked for what felt like almost every play. Can't wait until this offseason & we blow up this offensive line unit.

Welcome to our world.

So which o lineman do you want with the Colts 1st rounder?

Oh wait...

Free agency and the OL draft classes can be pretty deep (although admittingly I haven't looked much at this upcoming year)
Well, I have to reserve my judgement on Richardson for at least another season. Right now, it doesn't look good. I'll concede that.

But, I'll have to agree with Coltswarriors about the O-Line. The Colts offensive line is putrid. They're as bad as Jax, probably even worse. Donald Brown has looked better than Trent at times, but he still doesn't do all that much.

The O-Line is killing the Colts running game. Jags fans should be all too familiar with that, lol.
Brown is running behind the same line and on the season averages 2 more ypc.

Since he's been on the colts Richardson averages less than 3 ypc. The line may be a problem, but Richardson definitely isn't helping his case, by being outplayed by Brown.

I'll admit I was WAY wrong about this trade. I thought Richardson would excel with the addition of a good passing game, but was I wrong. From the limited times I've watched the Indy, he doesn't trust his instincts and waits too long to make his move through the hole.

I originally called the guy a rich man's Ron Dayne when the trade first came through.. I'm going to change that to a poor man's Ron Dayne

....I'm not sure he could outrun Taylor Dayne at this point. :whistling:
I still recall the uproar over Jim Brown declaring that that Trent Richardson wasn't a special talent. I couldn't believe a team actually traded up to take him.

I was wrong about this trade too.

He had a decent day yesterday.

5 carries for 19 yards.  3.8 yrds a carry.

LOL

What happened to this guy?  I thought he was going to be at least good.  Didn't think he was going to be terrible though.

I remember when Jim Brown recognized Freddy Taylor as one of the best RB to ever play the game. He was right, then, too.

I remember fearing we would pick him because he was such a "can't miss" prospect.  I kept thinking how Gene would "have" to pick him if he fell to us.  I was so glad Cleveland came up to get him.

I think this Jim Brown guy knows a thing or two about running backs, lol.

Thank you Browns,

Sincerely,

The rest of the AFC South.

Indianapolis Clots, you've just been bamboozled!

In all likelihood, Richardson will stay with the Colts for another year.  After that, who knows.

Donald Brown is running through that same OL, and he's been better than Richardson.

Yup, didn't deny that. Before that last drive against the Titans Brown was worse than Richardson Sunday.

Still doesn't change the fact that this offensive line is horrendous.

You can't discount drives. Has Richardson had a productive drive all year?

Richardson and most your FAs look like total fails. Ship is sinking

Nope.

All FAs look like fails? You living in la-la land again (of course this is assuming you've left, which you probably haven't)?

DHB (definitely, but only a 1 year deal) & Richardson so far look like fails.

-Cherilus has looked like an all-pro at tackle. Best lineman on the team

-Donald Thomas got injured 2nd game

-Greg Toler has been a nice addition when healthy. He's missed the past 5 or so weeks.

-Walden started slow, but has slowly become a nice piece (besides his stupid head-butt)

-Ricky Jean-Francois has been so-so. Nothing special. Not bad either.

-Laron Landry has been a key piece to our defense this year.

-Ahmad Bradshaw was a beast before he got injured & put on IR. Shame.

The "ship is sinking" because of injuries. It's too dang hard to have 5 KEY offensive starters go to IR. KEY positions. No team in the NFL has lost more key players on the offense than the Colts (not counting the loss of an elite QB which trumps all *Packers*). Maybe the Falcons. How are they looking this year?

If you think the ending to this year shows a sign of the Colts to be bad in the future you're sadly mistaken. It's a QB driven league. As long as we have Andrew Luck healthy this team will be in the running for a division title every year (heck, we were even in the running his rookie year!)
