You don't think 12 touchdowns and 1,300+ yards is impressive from a rookie running back?

Look at the players drafted between 20-32 last year. How many of them would you rather have than Trent Richardson? A couple, at best. Do the same for the year before, and the year before, and the year before.

Trent Richardson's floor is league average and his ceiling is top 5 RBs in the league. I'll take that in a late first round pick (which runs a huge risk of not panning out) every day.

.. And yet 3-1 sounds better than 0-4..

...I'd draft a punter.

Nah.

No, you really wouldn't.

Are you a child or are you really just that immature?

Just logical... 'bout you?

Nice helmets by the way.

Considering the user you were replying to in a condescending manner was defending the Colts' move to trade for Richardson, I think roycee also should've questioned your comprehension skills.

EDIT: Oh god, I'm actually laughing at how big of a comprehension whiff that was. A bit of irony in that too

Could somebody please list the last 10 years of the Jaguars 1st round draft picks (including trading up), and get this idiotic debate over with?

Put me out of this misery, please, how much was spent on the sure bet of DE Derrick Harvey?

Defend that. See?
Both teams win in this deal. I don't see why it has to be win/lose in a trade scenario. I say both teams have potential to get better with this deal.

Just because we have drafted terribly doesn't mean that you guys wasting a 1st rounder is a good move

But...but...but you don't take RBs in the 1st round!

(thank you, btw).

Wasting? Using a late 1st round pick on a 22 year old running back who had 1,300+ yards and 12 touchdowns in his rookie campaign is not "wasting".

To be honest, Trent Richardson isn't a "sure bet" either. He hasn't been in the league long enough for anyone to accurately predict who will win in this trade.

And that's what makes it debate worthy, assuming that's what you're all talking about.

I thought that'd get you to settle down and begin repeating things you thought sounded clever coming out.

At least even you're starting to subconsciously realize what a terrible troll you are.
If Trent Richardson was to re-enter the 2014 NFL draft, he would be the #1 RB on the board and taken in the top 20, easily.

Probably. But like I said, we won't know the winner of this trade until we see who the Browns select.

If the Browns land Manziel with the pick they traded to the Colts, I would definitely call the Browns a winner, but that wouldn't necessarily mean the Colts lost.

It's interesting to talk about.

I'm not sure he would be drafted in the 1st round this time around if they knew how slow he is. Prob early to mid second and he can thank the Alabama o line for that

Troll.. No

Realist.. Yes

Enjoy.

Did you take advantage of those free beers?

;-)
You Colts fans are very defensive.

Bit Sore that Manning is looking better than ever? and Luck's ceiling is more Phillip Rivers

Dude, you are the ultimate troll.

We didn't see you much around here during the colts 2-14 season, now, did we?  No, you disappeared under your bridge like a good little troll.

Now you're back.  Who cares, just don't lie about who you are or what you do.  Now go back under your bridge, like you did when jughead threw the pick against the saints, and don't come back until the colts miss the playoffs.
