Anyone with any intelligence knows that NONE of the Jags talent can be evaluated properly under the worst head coach in NFL history. That goes for Bortles, the WRs, Myles Jack, Ramsey, Fowler, etc. Shad Khan REALLY screwed this franchise by keeping Gus 1 year too long. He's pathetic. Young players should be coached by a veteran coach who already knows how to win and who's already proven it. That's how you evaluate talent. Khan is inept.

The past 5 games Bortles QB rating is 87.1 with 11 TDs and 5 INTs. He's not the majority of the problem. Gus Bradley, their o line, and running game is. Not to mention their #27 scoring defense EVERY year. Gus Bradley has 1 JOB.....to fix the defense. His "specialty" is defense. He's never been better than 26th in scoring defense in 4 seasons. The worst coach in NFL history can't even stop Tyrod Taylor.

Tyrod Taylor is a top 15 QB this year. Bortles is 26th in QBR this year and he was 24th last year on the season that you like to hang everything on.

A clear sign of lack of intelligence in this post...... Why don't you ask Matthew Stafford who's WHOLE career has had a terrible defense yet this year Detroit is a #15 scoring defense and is in the playoff hunt. Barry Sanders? Dan Marino? If your team is AWFUL, you don't stand a chance.

We already thoroughly debunked every one of these. Did you think that disappearing for two weeks was going to get us to forget the truth?
The rushing game is at 4.2 yards per attempt, 17th best...not bad.
The oline is allowing sacks at the also 17th rate, 5.25% of Blake's drop backs...not bad.
The defense is forcing 4.8 punts per game, 10th in the league...good.
The defense is allowing 5.0 yards per play, 6th best in the league...very good.
Everything about this team is good enough, or better than good enough, except for the QB. Get us a franchise caliber QB and HC and we would be a playoff team right now.

If you think 30-35 TD Bortles sucks and you want a 15-20 TD winning QB like Tyrod Taylor, Sam Bradford, or Joe Flacco then you BETTER have a top 5-10 scoring defense
