I don't know.  Do you expect Mariota to have more broken limbs than teeth in the mouth of the average tackfan?  Because I do.

So one? Sounds about right.

Probably the expression on my face at least a few times every game with Bradley.
(09-13-2017, 04:05 PM)Bullseye Wrote: [ -> ]By the way, if you are such an average team, why so confident you'll win Sunday?
You must have me confused because I'm not all that confident. I've said several times already that I could easily see either team winning this week. Although yes, I do believe we are the better team. But we all know the better team doesn't always win on Sunday.

I'm just having a good time poking fun at some of the delusion going on here. Your D wrecks literally one of the worst OLines in the whole league, and suddenly they're "filthy." Fournette averages 3.8ypc and he's Beast Mode 2.0. I mean, enjoy it while you can I guess.

That was pretty much my face when Mularkey decided to open our season with an onside kick.

That's cute coming from a fan of a team that is 22-74 over the past 6 seasons and has topped out at 5 wins. lol

we have to start a new stat in the box score concussions received, Texans go 5 last week and all 5 got a ten count for this week
2 TKO for the tacks this week

I still regard this as the best defensive play ever in league history.

He comes back to this stadium with the fresh memory of getting broken here last time and having just witnessed a ten sack game by the guys that did it to him.

Jags win in a blow out 42-10.

Calais is just a lame city in France full of refugees

I know the gene pool is a little watered down in tacky valley, so I'll cut you some slack here, but that's about as weak as you can get with smack when you break out a French reference.

I am waiting for your response to Leonard Fournette's statistics.

he had 100 yards! jesus you can tell you guys havent had good players in a while. running backs are supposed to do that on good days. he got exactly 100, not 170+. 3.8ypc is BELOW where you want your RBs to be. with such a "blowout win" on "the back of fournette" he didnt really have to do very much. texans gave you guys the game in turnovers and had tissue paper at LT

y'all need to chill

A rookie starting his first game going up against arguably one of the best front 7 in the league racked up 100 yards rushing and another 24 yards receiving.  He did that facing 8 or 9 guys in the box all day long.

You know what happened to those free agency victories?

They became history. And so did most of their coaches.

But the GM remains....

And the GM now reports to Tom Coughlin, who actually makes the decisions while the GM runs for coffee.

A few years ago more sections became available for NFL games and we sold a lot more seats without getting any blackouts. Titans fans have to know that by now if they aren't hiding under rocks. And if you know we can be dangerous, you also know we actually do try to win because of what happened during their last game at Jacksonville.

Do you put much stock into a first week loss?

It is going to take more than a few years to live down the tarps

Not really, but I guess it's pretty much all you've got.  No worries.  We don't expect much in the way of creativity from tackland.

Garbage as expected.  Hated that signing from day 1.   Adding Jagrags castoffs definitely isn't the proper way to build a roster.

Good thing you hired your head coach from the same cesspool.
tacks fans on Sunday gonna' be just like these dudes were last week -

I don't know. They did put up 95 whole rushing yards (inflated by QB scrambles) against last year's 27th ranked defense.

Is that what uncle daddy calls it?

The impressive part of the tinhorn game wasn't necessarily how our defense handled their offense.  Houston has one of the better defenses in the league, and they barely put up a front against the Jags.  Look at the stat line for their front line guys.  It wasn't pretty.

Yep our high draft pick  QB had us nearly in the playoffs in his 2nd year, such a horrible year for us

Your high draft pick QB can barely complete pass ... hey, maybe Bortles will be bad enough you can waste another top 5 pick on a qb

Yeah, you missed the playoffs by a foot.  You're welcome.

(09-13-2017, 12:59 PM)JaguarsWoman Wrote: [ -> ]Bad news: Not only did Jalen Ramsey miss practice, but Blake Bortles has a right wrist injury. Look for more running plays this weekend.

Bortles wrist injury is a complete non-factor.  Ramsey missing practice is fine.  He sprained his ankle in Houston.  They're going to avoid putting too much strain on it in practices so that he's as fresh as possible on Sunday.

TOP is determined by the coaches. Doug Marrone and Nathaniel Hackett decided to eat the clock by calling Leonard Fournette's number. It is not rocket science.

I am not saying Campbell isn't good. it will not be nearlly as easy for him though going against these guys

Not to worry.  The marketing wizards in tacky valley have a plan to boost attendance.  They've got a few special events planned for this season.

  1. Match.com night - The Titans are inviting folks to bring their family reunions to the stadium for a home game and potential love connection.
  2. Oral Hygiene Day: The theme for the day is "brush your tooth!"
  3. Family Tree Day: The tacks will be giving out free 2x4s to the first 3000 fans to enter the stadium.

DaNorris Searcy. He sucks too lol. But still, tough to be any worse than Cyprien was last week so no big deal. Cyp was out of position a lot and for a supposed "run stop specialist" he sure seems to have a tendency to whiff.
