You were never funny when you attempted the whole Fisher parody thing, but at least it was somewhat original.
Now all you've got is this crappy troll job?  C'mon.  Try harder.

Consider this a friendly warning to all of our board members who are fans of rival teams:

Trolling is a bannable offense on this message board.  If you are lacking the intellect to carry on relevant discussion about football and are only able to post meaningless antagonistic crap -- you will be suspended or banned.

It's not difficult folks.  Talking smack is fine.  But you need to do it in the context of the thread topic and contribute something beyond just trolling for reaction.

The Fisher stuff was comedy gold!

Funny thing is, i was banned from posting twice for being myself. (Fisher)

Except you're not Fisher. Fraud is frowned upon in most states...

Have you ever seen Jeff.Fisher and Jeff Fisher in the same place?  Think about it.....
This thread has gotten off topic. We should get back to talking about how great the TITANS are/can be. I'm sure whoever created this thread would appreciate that.

How good can the Titans be?

Floor: Better than the Jags

Ceiling: Decade long undefeated dynasty.

Good enough to miss out on a top draft pick(floor), bad enough to lose to the Jags in the playoffs (ceiling).

TN's upside is 100% tied to Mariota. He has better red zone stats than Tom Brady. When he gets down there he is lethal.

TN has been really hurt most of the year but the defense has really gotten better. Jackson has really stepped it up.

When Mariota gets his wheels back he kills D's. Jax knows this full well. You cannot come after him like you can anyone else. The game against Jax showed it. Jax run D is not good their Pass D is excellent. TN is a bad match up now for Jax. Mariota's wheels really help. The key is Mariota had no problem throwing the ball against Jax even without Corey Davis injury. He hardly played in Jax cause of the hammy.

I like Jax D a lot. I just have no confidence in Bortles. If you guys had a better QB you'd be in great shape. If Jax had brought Kap in I think Jax would be favorite for SB.

Since Week 5, Adoree’ Jackson has allowed 8.05 yards per catch. That is the lowest for all cornerbacks who have been thrown at more than 20 times in that span. Kid is coming on. He has been a great pick.

In before "fake news"
I think TN and Jax will both make the playoffs. I just have no faith in Bortles when you shut the run down. TN can do just that. Jax has never shut down Mariota unless he was injured. That is the key difference between both teams.

Do you understand the concept of a "ceiling" for a player's potential performance?

Mariota would most likely be a short term upgrade to Bortles right now.
I don't personally have much faith in Blake ever being much better than he is right now.

Believing he has a higher ceiling because he's bigger, stronger and tougher than Mariota is a different story. Will he ever reach that potential?  Doubtful.

So bigger, stronger, and tougher means higher ceiling as a QB? I guess Taylor Lewan has a pretty high ceiling as a franchise NFL QB.

It's not that simple, but those things makes him less prone to injury.
Of course you already know that as you've had to deal with it plenty with mariota.
You can bury your head in the sand about it if it makes you feel better.

He's only missed 5 games in 2.5 years. Luck and Watson has/will miss a lot more than that. I guess Bortles has a higher ceiling than them too.

Basing everything on injuries is kind of a dumb analysis.

No one is basing everything on injuries. That's ridiculous.  I didn't like Watson's ceiling as a prospect either.
And Luck is a different story completely.  If you remembered how bad the Jags O-Line was when they selected Blake - you might get why fans valued a bigger, stronger guy behind center.

I think you're trying to put too much weight on "ceiling opinions" anyway. What a fan thinks of a rookie's ceiling rarely defines that player's career.  It's a crap-shoot. I thought Bortles had a higher ceiling than Mariota as a prospect. Now it looks like the odds of it working out that way are similar to being struck by lightning.  But these kids are 24 and 25 years old. Who knows?
Who is Vondy? Someone I shouldn’t care about? Most likely.

There is a chance Mariota would have gone the way of RG3 behind that line. That is not a cheap shot on Mariota, just don't think 50+ sacks would be something he recovers from.

You seem to have trouble with having any kind of intelligent back and forth. You must be a Titans fan  Cool

Just another tack troll that refused to abide by the board rules and was suspended.

So - yeah - someone you shouldn't care about.

Welp  - this steelers game should be a good test to answer the topic question a bit. Weird rooting for the steelers - but here goes nothing!

Agreed

Steelers drove down the field pretty easily on the opening drive for a TD.  Lets see what princess Mariota does with their first possession.
