Just how well the Titans are playing against the run in 2017????? They haven't allowed a guy to hit even 80 yards all season, only 4 TD's allowed, long carry of only 22 yards. As good as Jax has been against the pass TN has been as good against the run. Allowing 91.8 rush yards per game and 3.6 YPC. Bell will be the best we've faced though so we will see how we really stack up but so far so good.

Lynch-18 carries 76 yards
Fournette-14 carries 40 yards
Carson-11 carries 34 yards
Miller-19 carries 75 yards
Ajayi-25 carries 77 yards
Gore-10 carries 49 yards
Crowell-17 carries 35 yards
Collins-13 carries 43 yards
Mixon-9 carries 37 yards

Wasn’t this a parody account a week ago?

Palpable fear has tack-trolls breaking character.

Fournette not withstanding, how many combined 100 yard games do these guys have this season? 1?

holy bad hot takes..... you better delete this before more people keep quoting it

mariota has 3 game winning drives in the last 4 games... game manager... LAWL
anyone who actually watches Titans games can see Mariota has been on fire, he's been making great throws into tight windows very consistently, all over the field, including toe tappers

meanwhile bortles is trying his hardest to lose games when it counts

This might be one of the dumbest things I've read on this forum and this forum has Jaguarswoman on it. Impressive.

And spacecoast

However... I might tend to agree Bortles might have that higher ceiling... Mariota definitely has the higher floor though.

Sorry fellas. 7 TD's thru 8 games screams GAME MANAGER. You can put a cherry on top of dog crap, but its still crap.
The only "dumb" part of the statement is the Alex Smith comp. LOL

Alex Smith is on fire this year. 272 yds per game - 18 TDs - 1 INT and a 113 rating. The "game manager" label no longer fits.

It wasn't so much a "comp". I said several steps below the Alex Smith "type".

Gotcha. He has indeed been that type in the past.
So if the Titans got super drunk and offered to trade Mariota for Bortles straight up, you all would want to decline that offer?

I'd decline. I'd rather take my chances in the draft.

Mariota hype is created by the media, not his actual play.

Do you understand the concept of a "ceiling" for a player's potential performance?

Mariota would most likely be a short term upgrade to Bortles right now.
I don't personally have much faith in Blake ever being much better than he is right now.

Believing he has a higher ceiling because he's bigger, stronger and tougher than Mariota is a different story. Will he ever reach that potential?  Doubtful.

Idk man I'm just starting to think this whole board is satire at this point.

What is your supporting argument here exactly? That MM had game winning drives against teams you should have never needed a game winning drive against in the first place?

Congrats on beating the Browns by 3 points, who we will probably beat by 30.
Congrats on beating the Ravens by 3 points, who we beat 44-7.
Congrats on beating the Bengals by 4, who we beat 23-7.

Starting to see the pattern here Sherlock?

Well... no... cuz Bortles is due 19 mil next year and Ms Mary would be super cheap and probably equally effective in our run first play D game manager offense.

yeah it's really hard to take them seriously when they say things like this

You kids are more than welcome to go back to "reality" over in tackland where Ms Mary is MVP and the tacks are good.

So how good do you think Mariota actually is? Is there no QB you would trade Mariota for straight up?

I  mean the guy has 7 TDs and 6 interceptions this season..... He's certainly not elite.

Tack fans represent delusion at its finest. They need ESPN to constantly convince them they don't have the worst starting QB in the division.

You seem to be wasting your time here. These people do not seem to be able to grasp anything beyond stats.
