I already stopped going to games based on the horrible experience their dismal play brings. They really don't need to give fans another reason to hate them.
I think I'll see a LOT kneel today.

There is no rule requiring players stand for the national anthem.

C'mon now weak sauce, you know perfectly well that the NFL has extremely liberal discretion regarding the behavior of their employees. Very few things are beyond their control when it comes to actions that are bad for business, and several clubs have already made it public that their players will not engage in this behavior.

That'll be swell being on foreign soil and all, I wonder if they'll stand back up for God Save The Queen?
I think the kneeling was losing its effect on people. Trump brought the issue back to the forefront. Slippery slope for the NFL. I'm sure they want to show they are behind their employees, but they also don't want to alienate the portion of their fan base that's tired of politics being shoved in their face at an entertainment event, even if that portion of the fan base is only 10% that's going to dig into league revenues and they just won't stand for that, pun intended.

I would think the league would encourage some other, less offensive form of league solidarity as opposed to mass kneelings today. I guess we'll find out in less than an hour.
This crap is so annoying. I'm a Trump guy but why say that? And the players, why overreact to it? They never called anybody an [BLEEP] before? Please... Why kneel? What does it do? Don't even get what they're protesting, just a bunch of soft crybabies. People crying to boycott the NFL are stupid too. Annoying. Wish this garbage would just die off already.
I was against kneeling until Trump spoke out against it. Now I hope players kneel just to give the middle finger to the president. He needs to focus on more important things and keep his comments to himself. His mouth and twitter are digging him into too many holes.
I'm done buying tickets and merchandise from The NFL for now.. There's my own personal protest. I'm still a fan on this team and I'll watch the games on TV, but that's it for me until all this stupid kneeling [BLEEP] is done. They won't miss my money anyway..
Never been prouder of OUR TEAM and OUR OWNER taking a stand (or a knee) against the FOOL's position.

Our owner, a TRUE AMERICAN taking a STAND.

[BLEEP] those guys.
Yeh, lionize drug culture. That'll show em!
That man sure does know how to bring people together and unite them against whatever cause he's championing this week.
Shahd khan and everyone "standing" with arms locked proves the president was right and that kneeling or sitting is a sign of disrespect.

No, it proves that kneeling or sitting is something that falls under the "I will defend to the death your right to say it" category.

Something tells me you would advocate child slavery if it was a dig at DT.
A protest that insults, offends and alienates persons otherwise sympathetic to one's cause is doomed to failure.  It can only inspire a counter-protest that could rip the NFL apart.  I am a season ticket holder and a military veteran and I turned off the game after witnessing the protest by jaguar players.  Unless this situation is brought under control I will not renew my tickets.

That's the only thing you can do If it truly angers you like that. It really is a shame.

I respect your point of view, but would like to congratulate you for being a pawn.

Why Is he a pawn? Because he's taking a stand against something he doesn't like?

Sound familiar? Because I guess that would make all of Crappernick's followers "pawns" as well..

This is just Trump attempting to manipulate the market against an organization he personally dislikes. He doesn't have two poops to give about the protests.

He did the same thing with Lockheed. I hope Congress is paying attention.
