So you ask again...............geez.

Read it for yourself.  It is freaking all over the place, from PFT to any other football related site.

You have to be willfully oblivious to miss it.

Or they can do what the rules permit.

The owners statements in support speak for themselves.

Maybe the idiot cheeto can keep his mouth shut when the subject isn't at hand.  Just running his idiotic mouth.

Just remember, when you ask yourself how you feel about this, that FOOL caused this to happen, when there was no reason it otherwise would have.

Devil's advocate here: players were kneeling before Trump.

Yup.. And a guy made a point, with a platform available to him, risking his own personal detriment.  He knew what he was doing and the risk he was taking, and realized he would be attacked for utilizing the a right of free speech we all claim to hold dear.  He did so peacefully.  So have other like minded players.

And then, out of nowhere, MONTHS Unsolicited, the idiot in chief took away from Losing a name calling battle with another idiot somehow responsible for running a country to attack the guys daring to do that.

I am sure he expected the billionaires owners to take up with him, only to have this backfire in
I am SICK and tired of millionaires disrespecting our flag and our country. My country AND POTUS are more important than a DAMN GAME...

Your POTUS is disrespecting PRIVATE CITIZENS by calling them SO.....'s and acting like a poor spoiled little child by getting into further name calling battles (and losing) with a fool.

And none of these players are disrespecting the country. Does Potus respect anyone to anything, or their rights? Ask yourself that.

You may want to recall the same stupid rhetoric was employed against Cassius Clay, and now, as he should be, he is recognized as a hero.

The idiot in chief thought he would intimidate players into remaining silent. He counted wrong

If I protested in favor of the president at my job, would I get fired?
Nate, what is your political affiliation?
I'm such a fan of Alejandro Villanueva now..

Bless that man..

BULL!! These millionaires are RICH, SPOILED BRATS. The football field is NO place for protest. I do not pay over $ 500 a game to be lectured to by ignorant idiots. If they want to protest, DO IT ON THEIR TIME...

Depends on the rules of your job.  Some would.  Depends on what you are protesting, exactly, and how you do it, I'd think.  Some employers encourage it.  Some prevent it, at work.  Some will not be associated with some messages.

I recall some people standing up for private employees having the right to free speech as they chant "Blood and Soil" and racist nonsense, and were appalled that some employers would not recognize free speech in at at-will environment.

If your boss came out and stood next to you while you did exactly that, I guess you have a simple answer.

You are correct about most of them being ignorant idiots. Most of these guys had underwater basket weaving degrees while chasing their dream and were also pampered in HS. The sad thing is, there are young people who look up to these people as role models.
No oppressed group has ever been granted its freedom and equality by playing by what the opposition deems acceptable.

Happy to see people take a stand from a privileged position.

If your employer felt that conduct was unacceptable to them, yes.

Ah yes, the old "dehumanize your opponent" shtick. Predictable, but still disappointing.

What a Joke.  Yeah, you are really being lectured.  How soft are you, to be so offended by a SILENT PEACEFUL protest BEFORE a kickoff?

So may players took great personal risk, who aren't close to being milliners, to be supported by their billionaire employers.

You expect them to be threatened and remain silent.

Too bad.  They consider their rights and their solidarity in light of hate being spewed their way OUT OF THE BLUE to be more important than you do.

Lectured INDEED.  The attempt at a lecture was done by the idiot in chief and it WAS REJECTED.
Why do you care so much about how someone acts during a song. Maybe they would be better off not playing it at all if it's going to upset you so bad

They took a BRAVE position with more at risk than many of us may ever know.

Some solid trolling right there. Kudos.
The Jags and Khan spit in the faces of EVERY American today, when they kneeled during the National Anthem then rose for England's anthem. THEY SPAT IN OUR FACES ON LIVE T.V

People say it won't impact anything, but I have personally seen 4-5 people in my FB page who are pretty big Jag fans offering their merchandise up for free and not watching anymore. It will be interesting to see what comes of this. The team has declining support already as it is.

Edit*

Personally, I think they should trot the players out on the field after our National Anthem is played, and take away their platform. If they want to platform, they need to do it on their time and not on company time.

That is actually a solid solution. I'll text Shad.

good point on their own time, the issue is with how Police are doing their job, these new cameras that are available for police offices have  recently identified a occurrence the has the police asking for a district representative to Apologize or resign imagine that.

Will you join them, or do they love their country more than you?
