We've moved on to immigration policy... with similar results.
Maybe if Kim paraded some malnutritioned Nk kids it would still be a thing. However, that story went lukewarm on the humanitarian scale. Illegal immigration and the kids are the flavor of the month. THE KIDS!!!

For. Either North Korea is disarmed or Trump comes out proving himself weaker on foreign policy than Obama. Win-win.

Sal Alinsky taught them well
Evidence of NK dismantling its satellite launch facilities - 38 North . Good news. Hopefully there will be continued movement on this front.

And you tell me my reading comprehension reeks.

Are you completely oblivious to NK's actions historically against the joint exercises?
I know you like to muddy your responses so you can flip flop but perhaps be clear so nobody has to guess. You don’t have to respond if you’ve got nothing to add outside of your typical “dig” comments. We can have different opions without you being an [BLEEP].

If not public perception than which? Personal, China, Russia? They all register equally on the doesn’t matter scale.

I served for 23 years and attended Air War College as well as numerous Joint Tactical training centers. I also disseminated Presidential and CJCS EAMs. I was STRATCOM certified with a YANKEE WHITE clearance. What would be your qualifications on the matter?

Thank you for your service, you can exhale and un-puff your chest now (feel free to take that as a dig, everyone is troll bait in Trump World, amIrite?). Another member with military experience in the region posted there was value to the exercises, so I'm not sure your point is irrefutable but I'll defer to your expertise. I'm not sure of it's relevance, however, because my point was regarding the perception of NK, Russia and China towards the cessation of joint exercises, not on their actual value to readiness.

No puff-up as those are basic qualifications and most likely mean squat to you but they do reinforce my professional opinion and relevance to the topic. In any case, once again, I question as to this “perception” that you speak of?

To my point, there is absolutely value in “some” exercises but puting a few on hold does little to impact regional readiness. FYI, there is not and has not been an order to the cessation of “all” regional exercises. In fact, one of the largest, RIMPAC, is taking place now. So, once again, nothing of extraordinary value was given up.
