That went left (no pun intended) real quick.

As they say, don't celebrate too soon before the win.

It's a shame the Nk resorted back to their typical selves. It was looking promising until China got back in the mix. Neither China nor Russia wants a Western influenced country on their doorstep. What's commical in all this is that certain media folks are celebrating the failure of what could have been historical diplomacy.
It's cool that I don't have to see a minute of Fox and Friends - I just wait for Stroud's latest post. Without fail.

Stroud - what are you going to do with the hundreds of dollars worth of challenge coins you now own?

The sheer fact Trump was even alluding to having NK be a political state like Libya was the beginning of the end.

Also when things dont go you guys way why resort to the name calling? Very juvenile.

What name calling?

LRM

Ironic, because the talks got called off because Kim Jong-hun called Vice-President Pence dumb.

So they say.

I thought Donald and China's dictator were best buds. Seems that Donald might be a tad too gullible.

Did you really think NK was going to give up all their nuclear weapons? When did they ever say they would? The only person to believe that was Donald.

Trump does this all the time (see "Spygate") - tries to create his own reality and then convince you that it's real. I'm still waiting for that special info he found regarding Obama's birth certificate.
I read it was cancelled because they suggested a Libya style take down of the nukes. Nothing will make NK back out of anything faster then referencing a country that had their dictator overthrow.

Ahh, is repeating something that someone else called him technically name calling? I mean if he called him a fat north korean donkey... that's name calling. And new.. and so fresh.
Still more progress than the last 12 presidents, so hopefully this strong arm tactic will produce more good results.
of course this will produce results. The short slightness of some people on here is astounding.

Do you really think this was all Trump? This is a team effort and requires all parties to negotiate under predefined terms. Blaming Trump as the singular failure point is just plain ignorant. Only in this day and age do folks scream that nothing is being done and then celebrate when diplomacy fails. Truly is a sickness.

Your news network talking about giving up nuclear weapons...https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/06/asia/nort...index.html

Since you brought up that other President, where do you fit on the Iran nuclear deal gullible scale? Suppose they should have given Kim the same deal, right? Maybe just employ “turtle diplomacy” and hide in the shell for 8-years.

lol ... your position is roughly, "But that's what they said on Fox!" You clearly subscribe to Hannity's Talking Points of the Week newsletter. Try thinking outside the 9:00 pm box.

So another Fox News reference?

The only thing Iran deserves is to be invaded and destroyed by Israel with America's blessing. And Israel would get that job done in 6 weeks.

Donald clearly doesn't know what he's doing. You don't declare victory and then show up and decide to negotiate. You get the groundwork done, get some agreements made, and then show up to talk further and sign an agreement. But Donald can't help but make it all about him before he's made any arrangements.
Guess he'll have to give back that Nobel Prize.

Kim and his family have spent 30+ years, and god knows how many lives, building up their nuclear capabilities. Did Donald really think they would give all that up for vague promises? I expect Kim to offer to drop his long range missile program (which we don't know even works) and Donald acccepting (he's has to come home with something). Then Kim can continue to work on lessening the US presence in Korea, with the ultimate hope of unifying Korea (under guess who). And before you say "That could never happen", consider Viet Nam.

I think Korea is to Trump what Iran was to Obama - working real hard to create some kind of "legacy".

South Korea is 1000x stronger than South Vietnam ever could have dreamed of being.

Economically speaking they are a powerhouse and NK is... what's less than nothing?

As far as military power goes... which country do you think would get more support from the world at large?

All you do is regurgitate Fox News. Not hard.

You must be a big John Bolton fan. Johnny is all about regime change. Seems like you are also. So - Trump is a neocon? That's what you voted for?

Bolton is very happy things aren't working out in Korea. You think it was a "slip-up" that he talked bout the Libya plan?

You a neocon or not? You seem confused.

Pretty much what they said in 1961 re North VietNam. And how strong is SK really without the US behind them? Kim hopes to split the US off from Korea - Donald has talked about Korea (and Japan) "doing more". Kim hopes SK and Japan will see which way the wind is blowing, know they can't rely on the US, and become more "accommodating".

Nuclear weapons is what makes North Korea known to the world. Without nukes they are Albania.

Lol, you got nuthin if you think I watch Fox. About the only thing close was listening to Neal Boortz occassionaly for the shock value, but he's been gone forca few years now. My listening is just Mumbles on 1010xl now.
Ruh-row.

Looks like Trump's tactic worked.

Norks are crawling back saying nukes are destroyed let's be BFFs.
LRM essentially begging for the meeting to still happen within 24 hours of cancelling it.
