Seriously, all this buffoonery has to be killing you people. Has Donald pardoned any more crooks today?

Change of subject? What are you talking about? The meeting is still occurring on its original date even after you and the entire left were rooting for NK to remain a nuclear power.

Yeah, those were some real crooks. Speaking of, have you joined MS-13 yet?

lol ... anyone who differs with Daffy Donald is "the left"? I understand your embarrassment but your desperation is unbecoming.

MS-13? You jump at every dog whistle as badly as Trivial Pursuit.

You don't honestly think NK will no longer be a nuclear power after meeting with Donald, do you? Boy, talk about not living in the real world.

Then you have a sheltered view. The political discourse is much more violent outside this message board.

By your statement you are saying that people not on the left are also rooting for NK to remain a nuclear power.

TDS has filtered across the political spectrum but I doubt many people on the right want Trump to fail in this and thus keep NK armed with nukes, TDS or not.

It's a process. All realist and the POTUS understand such. Besides, his first meeting is guaranteed to go better with NK than Obama's did.

And that's all the win he needs.

"It's a process." Hahahahaha. That's not what you were saying a month ago. You were giving Donald a Nobel Prize. Good to see you're finally coming off your Trump high. Rehab can do wonders.

What's the opposite of TDS? Trump Kiss-[BLEEP] Syndrome?

So now you're saying Donald is following the same "process" as did Clinton, Bush and Obama. They too tried to threaten and/or bribe North Korea. Clinton even met a top NK official in the White House. Apparently not much has changed. I'm still unclear what we're offering as a bribe. A Trump Tower?

Who ever said the current POTUS is a realist? No one, that's who.

The difference is that the world thinks Trump is crazy enough to actually follow through with his threats. I'm guessing you do too.

Trump is also putting trade pressure on China to get them to stop backstopping NK. No other POTUS did that. Clinton gave away the farm to NK for nothing.

Will this work? Probably not, but it at least has a chance. Unlike you, I hope it does.

Well gee..I guess it's good that he isn't going to North Korea huh?
So amazing watching history be made.

If something concrete results from this, I agree it will be considered historic. I'm hoping that it doesn't become a giant Nothing Burger. Time will tell if Kim is serious or is just playing us.
Pretty uuge accomplishment after a single meeting. The MSM looks more shellshocked than election night right now.
From what I've seen and heard most of the talking heads and writers, including Fox, are saying things similar to what was said at the beginning of the US/Iran nuclear deal - i.e., a good start, a good first step, let's see where this takes us, etc.

I know part of being a world leader is to engage in pomp and circuses, and I see that Donald has called off some military exercises in and around South Korea. What do we get out of this? What has Kim pledged to do, other than vague promises?

I'm all for talking rather than going to war, but if Obama or Clinton had done this photo op without some deliverables , some would be howling at the moon.
I'm sure it will be peace in their time.

I don't think that's true at all.

Obama and Clinton had zero intentions of doing anything. So it never would have happened. and ANY movement on this whole debacle is better than just ignoring them as they build an arsenal of nukes and fleet of ballistic submarines

LOL, in true fashion, you are howling the talking points the MSM agreed to come up with as far as the military exercises.

Dennis Rodmans interview speaks volumes about what type of man Obama is, and Slick Willy, well.... apparently what he did wasn't "a great deal for America".

Trump just won his reelection 500 days in. Deal with it.

I hate the guy but Dennis Rodman is 100 times more honest than Barack Obama. He's just crazy.

Ok.

Rodman has zero clout so when someone says  his word "speak volumes", I just have to laugh.

What interview are we talking about anyways?

I'm just glad after decades of constant threats and negativity there have been steps taken in a positive direction.
